Absolutely love the Burrito Bar in Kawana, so was excited with one opening locally. Unfortunately, our first try was disappointing, as they gave us shredded beef that was way spicier than what we'd ever had before. Thinking it was simple mistake and them working out the kinks in opening, we gave them another try. Food took forever to be ready despite being ordered in advance online, but somehow wasn't even hot when we got it. Contacted corporate, and was given a $50 voucher, so thought we'd give them one last try. Despite mentioning the shredded beef was way spicy (in comparison to other burrito bar's) and requesting steak, still received a couple of small pieces of beef slathered in a super spicy sauce (95% sauce, 5% beef). Also ordered a fish burrito, after the other food we had ordered had all been prepared and was sitting under the heat lamp, they came to tell me there was no fish and they'd have to go get some from woolies. Ended up swapping for something different and waited another 10 minutes for the last burrito while the chips went mushy, and the taco salad went yuck under the "heat lamp." The order that we were told would be ready in 5-7 minutes ended up taking over 30. I think the only thing that was ready in the promised time frame were the chips, which then sat for 25 minutes while we waited for the rest of the order. The owner has no customer service skills and I feel bad for the poor kids who work there. Three chances, with this last one knowing you had messed up previously and still couldn't get it right. Definitely won't be going back. Hopefully they close up soon and we get a GYG instead.
Edited to add - our last visit was just before 5pm, and there were no other customers in the restaurant, eating or waiting for food. I definitely understand longer waits...

I have never been to a restaurant that was so unorganized and had so many issues I took 4 adults and my 7 yo to the "restraunt" for dinner last night it took ages to get orders placed because the girl behind the counter pretty much ignored us while screwing around talking to another staff member we then found a table that wasn't dirty to sit at (rest of the restraunt was trashed with prior guests food plates ect that hadn't been cleaned up and food on the floor) the meals came out staggered with one of us getting her nachos in just a few minutes then a meal came out about every 10 minutes except for my daughter's the girl came up to us after we had already been sitting for 45mins and told us there wasn't any nuggets so we could pick something else for her (all adults had almost finished food at this point) we did and then waited for the kids meal to arrive after all adults had finished there food... while we're waiting for meals and trying to eat the entire time the staff members are arguing and talking loudly enough thru the restraunt it was hard to eat to the point I ended up leaving to go outside one of the girls pulled her boots off behind the counter and played with her socks before putting everything back on and them served food the restraunt remained filthy and didn't have any plates cleaned up the entire time we were there the whole experience sucked!! Staff need to be fired or completely retrained and everyone needs to communicate better and quietly !! I'll never go back dinner shouldn't be that bloody stressful. End of rant...

Iv got time to write this review because currently I’m still waiting for my takeaway order which is now nearly 2hrs late.
Phoned them to enquire where my order was when it got to the estimated delivery time and they told me that they were only preparing it now and then they back tracked and actually said it was already made but we’re waiting for their driver and that it would be 15mins away. My address is at least 20mins away from store.
Waited 15 rang again and they told me they were still waiting for their driver and the manager will ring me to have a talk. Never received a phone call from the manager.
Tried ringing again and kept being hung abruptly only got through when I rang off my partners phone so they didn’t recognise my number to hang up on this was after another 15mins wait
I was then given the excuse that their “system” was down and the driver needed my address again. Gave it to them and was told another 15mins away.
I don’t have high hopes my food will ever arrive and iv been robbed $100+ of my order :). But I guess I’ll wait 15mins the magic go away customer number
