I had high hopes for Sushi Motoko, but was left disappointed. The drinks - a mango passion fruit and lemon lime bitters - were eerily similar in taste, lacking the refreshing, natural flavors one might expect. They tasted artificial, hinting at the absence of real fruit juice. The ramen and katsudon were both an unfortunate letdown, their profiles dominated by an overpowering, charcoal-like flavor. What's worse, the ramen lacked the depth and rich flavor intrinsic to traditional Japanese ramen.
