Very disappointing. We love sushi and was really excited when we moved to the area and found this place. The only unfortunate issue being that I suffer a severe dairy allergy. I was assured by the counter staff that the options we had chosen were all dairy free. Veggie Curry, Spring Rolls, Tempura Sushi. On our first visit I was quite ill about an hour after and put it down to the stress of moving but when it happened again we questioned it and I was astounded to find the items contained dairy and that is what had upset me so badly. Such a shame but food allergies are serious and if you can't adhere to them, get out of the food industry. Advertised as a Japanese ‘restaurant’ so made a 30 min trip only to find it’s a take-away kiosk outside of Woolies with a few tables at the entrance/walkway to a supermarket?! Not where we intended to celebrate a birthday! VERY disappointed and went elsewhere. Love not having to drive to Caloundra for good sushi. Fantastic variety and every staff ive dealt with there have been so friendly. Gentleman who served yesterday at around 1pm was amazing even though he was very busy still asked how everyones day was and was very calm and collected.
