BFresh - Cafe Market Deli — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Extremely disappointing. Business has very minimal respect for COVID-19 and social distancing. It is still a current health directive to maintain physical distancing and remain 1.5 metres away from others. I ordered take away coffee this morning, along with several other people. Most people did the right thing and moved away after ordering and maintained physical distancing. Along came a gentleman clearly known by staff, he ordered then proceeded to the pick up counter and leaned over the pick up counter face to face and with in about half a metre of the staff making coffee and over the work station. Another staff member came over to chat and all were well within the public health recommendation of 1.5 metres. I observed this for approximately 5 minutes and at no point did the staff tell the gentleman to stand up right and off the counter to maintain the 1.5 metres physical distancing requirement. Upon exiting the shop I noticed shelving and displays positioned right on the walkway making physical distancing difficult to maintain. Best Deli on the sunshine coast but it has the best fruit and vegetables that are always fresh plus the food here is amazing great coffee, breakfast and lunch plus take away meals for the busy working people. I am a foodie and I love this place, as they have a lot of italian food like prosciutto, italian sausages, homemade pasta made on the premises, plus french triple brie cheese which is my favourite plus other amazing cheeses from all over Australia plus Italy and France. Very hard to find a good deli on the sunshine coast but i have been to them all and nothing comes up to BFresh Warana. Because I am a foodie, it is a great place for me to buy my food there, as I need special ingredients and they can only be purchased here and the service is of the highest quality and so friendly. They open at 5.30am of a morning and close 6.30pm so nice long hours for those who work and need a quick take away that is delicious. I meant to say that their sweets are delicious as well, especially their banana cake is the best on the whole of sunshine coast - I have never tasted a banana cake like this one anywhere...

This was an unusually disappointing experience, though prefacing this review with acknowledgment that I do generally love this Deli. The food and coffee are amazing and the staff are lovely. This review is for the $120 platter I bought. I have bought these platters twice previously, however Bfresh have apparently updated their platters. The presentation is sorely lacking - I could never serve this platter as is, and would certainly do my own purchasing and styling next time. Previous platters - amazing! I called Bfresh after i came home and viewed the platter as I thought I had been given the wrong sized however they told me they measure out the contents and style it for me so I got what I paid for. I was told I paid for presentation and putting together of the platter as well as the contents. I was also provided with one pack of crackers. See pics.
