1 star...because I couldn't give zero! Visited Sunday 10 Feb 2019. Bought a ham cheese tomato sandwich from the display in the counter. Looked OK... cut diagonally and put into one of those nasty triangular plastic containers. BUT, when I got to the shady spot to enjoy my sandwich, I was VERY disappointed. Two slim circles of ham, nowhere near wide enough to reach the edge of the (rather ordinary) slice of bread. Zero butter/margarine. Not even a scrape! Tomato, whilst looking generous viewed end-on at the centre cut, was also totally inadequate, barely touching one half. The cheese was one small slice from a pre-sliced pack. If the contents had been spread properly across the bread, maybe it might have been worth that 1 star? But in NO WAY was it worth the $8 they charged for it! Never, ever going there again. (On a positive note, the chips from the place on the corner weren't bad at all. At least I had something to put on that dry bread!)

I can never go past a great pastry or pie shop and when in a rush for a train, had to stop in for lunch here! Have been here a few times as it’s really convenient to the railway, clean, really pleasant, quick service from the staff and good coffee to boot! Today I had time to stop and try a pastry from the extensive pie menu - plenty to choose from and some different choices as well; butter chicken, Thai green curry and Philly steak and jalepeno! My choice was a spinach and feta pastie and chips. Great value and serve size and also have many combo deals, salads and rolls to choose from! Light and airy and plenty of seating and recommend a drop in to the ladies 👍

It is very sad that a new takeover of a former thriving business only took a very short time to loose it's Charme - buzzing atmosphere, friendly and happy staff and presentation of the displayed "goodies". Handwriting on the wrapped items - like from a pre- schooler (check for yourself). The Cappuccino was nice, $ 5.40 None of the staff had a smile and no communication skills. None of the staff from before was present either. It was 13.00 pm, and the rubbish bins - overflowing - in front of the shop and on the verandah - + flies - it was the first thing you saw - not very inviting. We were regular customers before - not anymore.

I have lunched here twice over last 2 weeks. My first was with fantastic service, a lovely young lass with a smile that was as fresh as the food. She was so apologetic that the modern milkshake was not what I was used to from 30 years ago, and tried so hard to please me. Her efforts were pleasing enough, and the salad roll was fresh and delish!

Then I went back last week. The difference a grumpy server makes to a dining experience. I can only assume this girl, was never taught to smile or say please, let alone speak clearly or say thank you. Err hello, I am the customer, I am way over here, I handed you the items for scanning, so maybe you could hand them back. Or was it I was not frumpy with short arms that you could not do such a simple task? The food was ok, a dry roll sadly, although the filling salad was delish. I will...
