To be greeted by the counter girl in a monotone with no expression on her face, after each patron before me was greeted with enthusiasm, felt extremely rude, if not a tad racist.

Then to be told that they didn't have the pizza my partner wanted, so I go back to the table to ask her a different choice, to go back to the counter to order the different pizza and be told they probably don't have any pizza.

Probably.

So I ask her to go check, to which I hear the chef ask if she's lost something, not her asking if there is any pizza. She returns to tell me that they had, just then, made two of the pizza I'd originally asked for. I ordered a pork knuckle for myself after that.

Buzzer goes off, but not because the food is ready, but for them to tell me that they don't have any stewed apples to go with the pork knuckle.

It's the start of service.

Mind you, it wasn't even the counter girl that asked, but a kitchen hand that was wondering by and noticed that I was standing there, staring and waiting for food that wasn't ready.

Been up all night with cold sweats thanks to food poisoning from the food.

I feel like any good reviews from this place are by people who can't cook, or who are white enough to be treated...

I'm in a group of just over 20 people & most of us have just finished lunch. It's the 1st time a lot of us have been here. These are the best meals ever presented. Fabulous chefs in the kitchen. The food is delicious. The meals are great value and plenty of food on your plate & so yummy😋. Cooked to perfection. Everyone should make the effort to get here. The range in the menu caters for everybody. The best meal I've had out in a long time. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with chips & salad. I was so full but I was not going to let it beat me. The whole table had a variety of meals and they were all brilliant. The service of the staff at the bar/ counter & tables have been exceptional. Fantastic staff ever. Highly recommended them & looking forward to returning. An above 10 star rating is deserved. Best regards...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Gem – We’ll Be Back!

We stumbled upon the Landsborough Pub and were absolutely blown away! The food was next level — bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. A special shout-out to the pork belly bites… wow! Crispy, tender, and packed with flavour, they were hands down the highlight of our visit.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, the perfect blend of laid-back charm and local character.

As out-of-town visitors, we can confidently say: we’ll definitely be back (even if its just for the pork belly bites entrees lol). If you’re anywhere near Landsborough, do yourself a favour and check this place...
