Domino's Pizza Warana — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

BE WARNED…

We gave this place a go, not ONCE but TWICE.

First time, in contradiction to our order, the pizza was loaded with cheese. We binned it. But we thought, “hey, they made a mistake”.

So there was a next time. This one was a lengthy process over the phone. But after 4 or 5 attempts, the person on the phone managed to read back our order and get it right.

Despite that, instead of vegetarian pizza we got pizza with bacon, or pepperoni. Who knows? It went in the bin.

So Dominoes got good money for 2 dinners we couldn't eat. As compensation, we were offered 2 free pizzas.

But when we called in to the store, we asked if we could swap our 2 compo pizzas for 2 compo fries. Denied.

Instead we were offered 50% off the fries. Given that the business values a side order of chips more than a pizza, this tells you something about the quality of the pizza here.

Honestly, this kind of mis-management is why we hear about people going ballistic at food and retail outlets.

When we next feel like pizza, we will try Italia Pizza & Pasta at Currimundi or Verona at...

The food was fine. The on time tracking seemed fine. But when I arrived I checked in using the 'deliver to your car's app thing, then proceeded to sit in the carpark for 12 minutes after my food was 'ready' watching the two young guys play on their phones and ignoring the only customer they had waiting. I could see they only had one order on their screen. I eventually went into the store to ask about my order. Ah, who is it for? For the only order you have mate. Also the only one who has been sitting in the carpark for the past 20 minutes now mate, who you made eye contact with several times before going back to your phone. Probably won't go back to this particular shop...

WOW! Huge shout out to Jack from Dominoes Warana! He helped me lift my pram to the upstairs level (nothing to do with ordering a Pizza) I popped my head in Dominoes and asked if there was a lift which he replied “no, but would you like a hand with your pram and once you’re finished upstairs, call the shop and I’ll come help you back down”

Now THAT is a GREAT Human and should be more Of it.

Dominoes Warana is not our local store but I will be going there from now on due to Jack’s impeccable help.
