Hungry Jack's Burgers Sunshine Plaza — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I have been to dozens of Hungry Jacks/Burger King outlets throughout the world but the business at Maroochydore is unequivocally the worst I have ever encountered. Indeed, I feel dirty in allocating 1 star to this carbuncle on the backside of the Sunshine Coast's eating options. When I visited some months ago, the service was so bad I boycotted the store until recently when the children asked if we could call in for a treat. Foolishly, I relented. At the drive through, I encountered the most sour-faced employee I have ever had the misfortune to meet who basically launched our five meals through the window as though participating in a bet based on the most lettuce distributed through a family vehicle. Despite this and, given the cheery mood in the car, I thanked her for the briefly airborne food. She looked at me and didn't say a word. I thanked her again but she turned her back and walked away!

After leaving the drive through I sampled my Whopper and it was colder than a night's skinny dipping in Norway so, later that day, I wrote a complaint to Customer Services. The respondent had the temerity to suggest that the employee probably couldn't hear me. This, despite her being a matter of centimetres away when she was flinging the food to me with the propensity of Will Genia. To this day, I am still staggered that the tone of the response suggested that there had likely been a misunderstanding! The respondent in high places didn't even propose a free burger even though I'd been served something which tasted as though it had sat making friends with Zoopa Doopas for half an hour or so!

Just had the most horrible experience at hungry jacks Maroochydore. Sunday the 10th of November at 11:45pm After ordering two meals we received extremely burnt burgers and cold chips. We then went back to explain which they were happy to replace but then received no chips.

After explaining again that our chips were cold the person serving rolled her eyes and we were then passed onto the manager. She also rolled her eyes and began to interrogate us on why we deserved another serve of chips.

After opening up the second order we then realised it wasn’t even exactly what we ordered I understand it was a Saturday night and it was busy but would of been happy to wait for what...

Food was great! Hygiene disgraceful- you sit down to a smudged, sticky table with the standard covid scan app to protect all Queenslanders from Covid. I then watch young female employee use only a chux cloth, with no bucket, no disinfectant or spray bottle to wipe down all the tables and seats (where your bum sits) in a very casual uninspired manner. If there were germs or Covid on tables she has just managed to spread them across ten other tables with a dose of sweaty butt juice. No hygiene, this is why the world has Covid and the like, the owners need to step up buy some disinfectant and train staff on hygiene, it’s a restaurant!!!! It’s not always...
