I enjoyed a tasty breakfast wrap and flat white at Jimmy’s after an enjoyable walk along the nearby beach. The wrap had plenty in it - see photo of menu - and as a messy eater, I was pleased it didn’t drip all over me. The coffee was hot, a good strength, and artistically presented. Service was friendly and efficient. There’s dog-friendly, covered outdoor seating, though it’s on a pathway, so can be busy, especially as more businesses open later in the morning. The centre car park can also become busy, but lots of comings and goings meant that spaces became available fairly often.

We had great coffee here and good food! The smashed avo was particularly good - loved that it came with whipped avo! The breaky tacos were good, but a little impractical with runny eggs as the yolk kind of just went everywhere :) But still delicious regardless! Fresh pressed juice was delicious. A little tight and busy in the cafe but spacious enough outside :) We tried the pistachio raswberry croissant (SERIOUSLY THE BEST THING EVERY) and the citrus cheesecake danish! Both AMAZING! Thanks so much for having us Jimmy! ~ @eatsonthecoast for more.

Listen…..I must say being English I’m a breakfast connoisseur and I am very serious when I say this has to be top 10 breakies I have ever had. Imagine a mixed grill but breakfast style (jimmys big breakfast). As much as this is top 10 there’s a few pointers. Brisket was a tad dry and so was the lamb but mate other than that perfect!! Special shout out for the hash brown (best in the game). Service was very friendly :) definitely eat here!!

Food was of a good standard. However the customer service experience was not. Extremely young and inexperienced staff who came across as pleasant, but untrained. There was confusion over my order after trying to add some extras from the menu. I was told there were two poached eggs with meal I ordered, I got one. I asked if the fat could be trimmed off the bacon. I was told yes, but it didn’t happen. The menu extras said Spinach and Mushrooms $4. I got charged $8! I queried the bill to find out this. A young ā€˜Manager’ explained the menu. I said perhaps change the wording, as it could only be read one way… As she walked away with her back to me, she said ā€œthanks for your suggestion, it’s notedā€. I will not be back. There are some great cafes on the Sunshine Coast, this is not one of them. There was a reply to my review, but it didn’t give me the right of reply, so I’ll add here. The reply blamed busy public holiday trade, trying to keep wages down and basically threw the poor young staff member ā€˜under the bus’! The young lady was very sweet, but it’s not her fault they put her on the till without training. It’s also not her fault the menu was misleading and needs correction. I’d be looking at Management upskilling before blaming...

Straw that broke the camels back. I've been a regular customer for past 5 years and had nothing but praise for this cafe referring alot of customers their way, although recently over several occasions I've been bumped while waiting at the counter to order to see texted in orders prioritised. Today a similar situation next in line with the line behind me several people deep and out the door. Get told one sec so they can put through the text orders, after several minutes finally get asked my order, I asked if texted in orders get prioritised over customers waiting. To be met with a wall of arrogance from the front of house staff saying yeah. Needless to say I walked out and Jimmy's will be off my list of local businesses to support. Extremely disappointing from what was a great little business, I get its busy time of year, although if your front of house staff are just plain rude and arrogant to customers it's not a good look. I'm not sure what's happen to good old...
