R-Crane Noodles & Dumplings — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I'm pretty easy going with food, I know It's not always going to be 100%. But when I ordered several different dishes from this so called "Japanese" noodle Bar I was seriously disappointed. As you can see in this picture the noodles looked like I was served a packet of 2min noodles with a bucket of oil. Also the calamari and squid balls I ordered were overcooked and dry like rubber. The Edamame beans were old, Like they were reheated in the microwave. I thought I was being fussy but as a looked around at other people and their dishes, I couldn't see them being any better. I won't be returning to this "Japanese restaurant" again. I should've trusted my instincts when I noticed this establishment is run by Chinese. Don't expect true...

I come here regularly as I work upstairs from them and ordered a bubble tea, the lady who served me was very rude, no greeting or anything, once i got my bubble tea it had barely any ice and was warm so i went back and asked if I could get more ice, she snatched it from me and fixed it up aggressively, spilling it everywhere then handed it back wet and dripping, as I walked away she says ' everyone is so rude today ' to her co-worker. Always great service and delicious food. My partner and I travel from North of gympie every few weeks and always make sure we stop in and get something, my partner LOVES and regularly gets the pork katsudon and I swap between the chicken karaage and rice, and the tomato and beef soup, both absolutely recommended! They have a wide range of bubble tea also, I love their passionfruit black tea with mango popping pearls. Highly recommend eating here! Staff are always friendly and accommodating and it's great being able to watch your food...
