Thought this would be cool to try. Unfortunately, not! Our chips came out super fast and were cold and dry. Clearly they pre batch them and sit them in a hot bay oven to wait, like a McDonalds kind of way. Returned them only to receive the same back and it seemed they had been cooked in old oil. Not nice at all and we didn’t bother to eat them.
My burger had a bit of raw mince in the middle of the patty and a piece of plastic too (lovely bonus) and then the corn bread came with a side of frozen butter, completely unable to get out of the tub let alone spread it onto soft cornbread. When we asked for this to be replaced, it appeared they simply shoved it in the microwave and brought it back out like a completely defrosted runny oil. To top off they really couldn’t have cared less. Only the one guy who we brought these issues to seemed apologetic and nice about it but also embarrassed too. I guess what else do you expect from a place like this but yea, definitely won’t be returning and certainly do not recommend lol Each to their own. ;) Gave the one star the the gentleman that tried to help us out lol
We visited on a very wet day . I think they must have been struggling a bit as they lead us in and waved us to an outside table down the end of the side with the comment if that’s too wet I think number 46 might be ok ‘ . Well the picnic style table was too wet so we wandered off to find this mysterious table 46. It was outside on a higher level under an umbrella. Even though it was raining hard we managed to find enough dry room under the umbrella. We had to run through the rain to order the meal . The meal came quickly but was a bit in the cool side , I guess because the poor waiter had to walk it through the rain to deliver it to us . The chicken waffles ( actually it’s only 1 waffle) was an immediate disappointment due to its small size . And now looking through other peoples reviews I realise we got a tiny serve of chips ( that we paid $6.50 for) Meals all tasted good but other than the sliders I think they are on the expensive side as no burgers come with chips . So $20 for a double cheeseburger with no chips seems a little much . Service was good and I loved the live music. I would not recommend coming here in the rain unless it’s not busy as there is limited indoor seating . I would recommend the sliders and would not recommend the chicken waffles. I will give this place another try as it’s funky but will just try different...

Car enthusiasts certainly do form a major part of the clientele. And why wouldn’t they? Every kind of motor vehicle known to mankind features at this venue on a weekly basis. And the line-up of automobiles and motor-bikes constantly changes, which adds to the experience and surprise element.
You can not leave without sampling a burger, milkshake or cold beer. It’s again part of the experience. The food is delivered on average inside 10mins which is crazy fast, and always consistent, always of a very high standard.
The diner is divided into several parts, the whiskey bar (over 18’s only), the beer garden, the bar area, the retro room and the garage. Each has its own atmosphere, and provides a different experience.
Live music always abounds on weekends from around noon, and Thursday nights features the open mic night with local Andrew Marshallsea.
In all sincerity the place is genuinely more enjoyable than some of the high $ ticket venues on the coast. I actually don’t think you can suggest you’ve seen it all here on the coast till you’ve...
