I had a very similar experience to the last 1 star review before me. My husband booked this place for valentines day at 7.30 pm. We got the valentines set menu. We arrived there about 5 mins early and was taken to our table fairly quickly. The waiter came and took our order for the drinks and about 25 to 30 mins later they arrived but still no starters.
I noticed that 2 couples who had just been seated were having the same issues as us. Not a single waiter or waitress in sight that we could flag down to ask for service. One of the couples had gotten up to notify a waiter that they hadn't been served yet and 15 mins later they received their drinks and their starters which was the "tex-mex dips" on the valentines set menu which I still haven't received yet at that point.
I look at my phone at its now 8.30pm and just as I was about to get up and make a complaint about the situation, the waiter comes by and asks if we were ready to order. I'm sorry but if you have set menus, there should be no need for us to make an order. What's the point of having a set menu in the first place then? It defeats the purpose.
My husband and I expressed our disappointment to the waiter, who then apologised and said drinks would be on the house and asked if there was anything he could get us. At that point, there was nothing he could have said or done to make the experience better as my husband and I were starving, and I just had to leave. We ended up paying for the extra 2 drinks we ordered on top of what was offered on the set menu as a gesture of goodwill even though we had such a horrible experience. We also spoke with the man who was managing the restaurant that night to express how poor the experience was. All he could do was apologise profusely.
You know it's a poorly managed restaurant when the people who arrive 30 mins after you, who have booked the same set menu for the night, receive their food before you.
Please train your staff and learn how to manage the restaurant as I'm sure you'll have more busy days coming and an apology just isn't good enough for...

We arrived 10 minutes early for our 7:30pm set menu time slot and were seated straight away, from there it went down hill, not a single wait staff came to take our drink order, we ended up having to try flag a waiter to come over, then our drinks order did not come for another 40 minutes. We eventually received our first course (chips and dip) after about 50mins - 1 hour. Throughout the night it was genuinely the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant, there was a table of 6 lovely couples that still hadn’t gotten their second course when we had received our third after 2 hours of waiting (they were there before us), I believe that was the last straw for them as they all got up and left without even getting through to their second part of a 6 course meal. Over the time we were there, we watched multiple people get up and leave and an endless amount of complaints being made… when it came time to pay, we didn’t want to burden the staff with just how bad of an expensive we have had when they had copped so many complaints already, they knew just how bad it was. We watched a couple arrive 1 hour after us receive all of their food in the set menu at once while the table next to them were not even half way through their set menu and we were not far ahead of them. Original post: The food and cocktails were really good, so would have given them 4 or 4.5 stars. But the wait staff were inexperienced, lacked attentiveness and customer service skills. Thet ended up not posting our set menu taps to the kitchen, did not even realise until we asked what has happened to our order after an hour's wait. We ended up waiting over 1.5hrs for a pita bread in the end! This was after we chased the staff twice and spoke to the manager. Although they were aplogetic no compensation was offered, not even a glass of wine! I would seriously consider if it's worth going back after this mixed experience.
