This is absolutely our favourite Indian Restaurant for the amazing food, simple menu and super-friendly staff. We have NEVER had a bad meal here and the meat is always fresh, tender and with no fat or gristle. Every dish is super-tasty and there is never a complaint. Ever!
My wife and I hail from the UK - whose national dish as everyone knows is the Tikka Masala - and so we are pretty fussy with our curry dishes... but the Copperpot never disappoints us... and it has been VERY tricky to find a good Indian Restaurant that is suited to our tastes - creamy, super-flavoursome curries...
The restaurant focuses on Goan-style Indian curry big on spices and average on chilli, with creamy dishes the way forward and they have a gorgeous Goan Goat Curry - try that for sure!
It's a small, family restaurant that focuses big on food and service rather than flash and glamour, but that being said you'll find it is often very busy so book ahead on Fridays and weekend nights. Parking outside is fine on all but the busiest of weekends and of course there is always the takeaway option - plus we always double the order so we can pop some into the freezer for when we next get peckish and can't get there in person...
My favourite - the Lamb Navratan. Yum.
One of our favourite Australian Indian Restaurants - go along and you won't be...
Read moreCopperpot Indian Restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The decor is beautiful and inviting, and the ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.
The menu is extensive and offers a wide range of dishes to choose from. We started with the samosas, which were crispy and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we ordered the tandoori chicken and the lamb rogan josh, both of which were cooked to perfection and packed with aromatic spices. We also loved the naan bread, which was soft and buttery.
But the real standout of the evening was the desserts. We couldn't resist trying the gulab jamun and the kulfi, and we were not disappointed. Both were incredibly rich and indulgent, and the flavors were out of this world.
Overall, Copperpot Indian Restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes. Five stars...
Read moreComing into the restaurant 40 minutes before the shop closes doesn’t mean they should stop caring. I walk in to be greeted with two men eating food and taking us to our seats. Might sound casual but I ordered the curry chicken along with the naan bread. The noises I heard in the background were disturbing, the man was hitting his pan continuously loudly on to the counter like they were angry, comes out casually bring food which looked okay. The curry chicken literally tasted as sweet as fruit which i want a fan. BUT don’t order the naan bread. I SWEAR the cheese naan taste like they just chuck in a slice of packet cheese from Coles and call it a dish. Guys… it’s a restaurant. Overall the guys were pretty nice and I ended up have a stuffed stomach. Most likely won’t be...
