Aldhiaffah Al Iraqi Fairfield — Restaurant in Sydney

Great customer service, and your prices are good. I'm happy with that, i'm a regular customer but lately i've noticed that your food is inconsistent. Some days it tastes good, some days it's not so good.

For example, when I arrive to eat in the mornings and order the Shish Kebab, it's quite obvious to me that the Kebab I was given isn't fresh. The shish has been prepared the night before, and kept in the fridge, and then upon arriving in the morning, you cook a cold shish fresh-out-the-fridge and serve it. And it lacks in quality and taste that you'd get if you were to arrive late afternoon. Very disappointed with this practice.

The man in charge of preparing the shish kebab needs to stop being lazy and preparing them the night before. Serving this food to a customer makes them not want to return. If you had thrown pre-prepared Kebabs in the bin you'd lose less money

A week ago, I ordered a Barramundi BBQ Fish Takeaway, and it was nicely wrapped and all, looked good, but upon unwrapping the foil, the stench really showed. It appeared to be an old fish, not fresh. And although we ate it anyway, we were really disappointed.

I'm surprised that a Restaurant that has operated for 30 years can still be this inconsistent?

Your food lacks spices, and your curries lack meat, and lack salt. Why is this the case? I think the owner of the restaurant should invite a group of people to taste-test his food and provide feedback. With a little bit of help, this restaurant can become great. it's a great local icon in Fairfield, and a long-standing restaurant, and I only want to see it succeed. Great customer service, but inconsistency in the food quality.

Clean seating area that's a little outdated. They had the menus sticky taped to a wall 1 per table of 4. The waiter sat us down and immediately asked us what we're having. I guess that people who visit typically already know what they are going to eat. The menu is in arabic and English and has about a dozen items on it, not the greatest variety but it does the job

Can't really complain about the food but it's a little pricey for what you get. You can tell that they definitely tried to make it look nice with their plating but fall a little short. The meat itself tastes good but the kebabs were definitely lacking.
