Artarmon Deli — Restaurant in Sydney

I ordered the Honda wrap which contained the usual bacon and egg fare with a crispy hash brown, the ingenius addition of succulent flavourful chorizo sausage, tied together with chipotle sauce and some crispy iceberg lettuce for freshness. The Honda wrap was hefty, and absolutely everything you could want in a so-called breakfast wrap. I left the place happy as a clam, my stomach full and my heart satisfied.

My sister, on the other hand, ordered the chicken schnitzel burger combo which, hands down, has to be the best value burger in Sydney. The locals seem to know that but keep it to themselves. It's $11 for a loaded burger with a generous portion of chips, a drink of choice and self-serve sauce of your choice. Now, the burger itself was no ordinary schnitzel burger. The attention to detail shone through with this order: the chicken was breaded with panko crumbs, fresh from the deep-fryer, and the bun was not too dry, unlike at some other burger joints whose sole "speciality" is burgers. The chips were crisp and made to order, and I also noticed that it had been seasoned with chicken salt, a true Aussie favourite which unlocked many core memories of my favourite fish and chip store as a child.

Overall, I could not recommend Artarmon Deli more. I'm an Artarmon local and this was hands down the best eatery in the area that does brunch-cafe style food. It's a true local hidden gem. The menu is exciting, the portions are generous and the value is unbeatable.

I only got to know this lovely cafe until I started ti send my kids to the daycare centre upstairs. Artarmon deli’s coffee is definitely one of the best in the area. I live near the station area and now I am happily to walk/drive there simply just for their coffee.

The cafe also serves all sorts of great foods, from Zinger burger(my favourite) to Thai fried rice/noodle. It’s a catch for the locals and tastes so yum!

Dan the owner is very friendly and helpful, he’s always cooking and helping out in the kitchen or grilling in the front which gave lots of vibes to the cafe in a relatively quiet area of the suburb. The staff team are great ppl with skills and again, the beverages and foods are one of the best...

I'd say don't listen to any review that has a bad rating as it looks like it may be competitors trying to sabotage artarmon deli's Google reviews. This cafe has to be the best in the area, food is always fresh, prices always good, a carefully selected coffee is always used, also the staff are ever so friendly. I have worked up the road for 5+ years now and this has always been the go to cafe in the area for myself and basically all the workers in the area. A+++...
