Gore Hill Park — Attraction in Sydney

What a great new place for families to explore! The newly opened Gore Hill Park is full of exciting new play equipment for young kids to play on. There's swings, climbing equipment and water features - bring a spare set of clothes as your children are likely to play with the water. There's also a bike track which goes the whole way around the AFL Oval. Parking is pretty easy with a free 2h car park - you can only enter from the north side of the Pacific Highway. Our only feedback is that the play equipment more suited for younger children, I.e. up to 6 years old. Gore Hill Park is a wonderful outdoor retreat. Its proximity to St Leonards Station makes it easy to access, making it a great place for a quick, refreshing break from the city buzz. The playground equipment is a standout, offering loads of fun for the kids. An added bonus is the nearby Gore Hill Oval - it's perfect for a weekend sports game. Awesome new playground for the whole family! Plenty of space including swings, slides, climbing decks, bridges, ropes, water play. There's also two BBQ stations with at least 4 big outdoor tables. It's right next to Gore Hill Oval as well so plenty of runaround there too. Free parking is available too (non weekday business hours is up to 2 hours), probably 20-ish spots.
