You have lost a regular customer because of your rude and mean customer service. Despite of expensive grocery items at your store, I used to shop regularly because itâs convenient and close. Last year, during Covid, your prices were throwing out of the roof.
I recently had a very sour experience. Recently, I bought 10kg whole wheat flour for around $19 and it had black bugs inside when I opened the bag after a week or so - well still within expiration date. I took it back to the store and the store guy allowed me to exchange it with another bag, any brand. I chose another brand this time which I recall was ~15. Well, I wanted few more items . So, I took everything to the TIL but the store guy said the bag I bought originally was only for 17 $. Original brandâs price was not listed in the store but same brand 5kg flour bag was for 15$. Can someone explain me this simple math?!?
Moreover, when I tried to reason politely with the guy, he was very rude. He said that I shouldnât be doing this. Like i was lying for 2$⊠really?!? Well, donât worry, I am not going to step in your store ever. Because itâs the only Indian store in the area, doesnât give you right to disrespect your customers. Anyways, I got my 19$ refund and I didnât purchase the items i wanted to buy. I came home and ordered Indian grocery online and it was delivered to my door step next day. Easy, cheap and better quality.

The fruits and vegetables are super fresh and so much more cheaper than regular supermarkets. Last month I picked up 5kgs potato and onion bags and usually with 5kg bags, you have to throw away at least 1-2 items as they get rotten in few days. But I was surprised that everything was so fresh even after 20days and I could use it all up.
Coming to groceries, you find everything you need. The shop is really well stocked with all varieties from different regions in India. I canât say much about Nepalese groceries, but they have an entire aisle filled with it. Moreover if you donât find something you can request the friendly and helpful staff to order it for you. The prices are also slightly cheaper than other Indian stores, which is a blessing in these expensive times!
You donât have to live in Artarmon to enjoy the benefits of this shop. It is just opposite the train station. I usually make a stop on my way from work and pick up fresh veggies and groceries for the week.
I usually donât write reviews, but this shop is really impressive. Grace Supermarket- keep up the...
Read moreGrace Super market is my GO to shop for fresh veggies which are at the same price of big markets like Flemington. Also you get all exotic veggies like drumstick leaves, banana flowers, lovely raw bananas etc. I bought 5kg bags of potato and onion and usually whenever I buy elsewhere 1/4 of it is wasted. Here nothing is wasted and I could keep for a month. Just loved the quality of them.
Now coming to the groceries they have a wide variety of items be it south Indian, north Indian, Nepalese and also if you ask for a particular variety they buy and give to you. If you need bulk or small quantities all are available.
Its just right across the station and easy for shopping. The owners and staff are very courteous and friendly. They welcome you warmly and speak a few words. You really feel you are part of the group and its not like other places there is no communication happens. I would recommend Grace super store to anyone and wish they open multiple branches for us to enjoy...
