Naremburn Park — Attraction in Sydney

Really nice park. Very well maintained. Great division of areas, football fields, netball courts, kids playground with gas BBQ, seated areas...Nice shaded areas. On site parking...although this fills quickly on the weekend. 5-10 minutes walk from St Leonard's train station. Toilets also available to the public and they have a small club storage/house which is used by varied sporting groups for equipment, host BBQ's etc. Really like going here and chilling out. Our favourite park for our beloved Happy the puppy, who can run freely within the park. There are so many friends for him to play with (when we can make it around 6pm) and people who come here are very nice. It's a great size park for exercise too, running or walking with your pup. Many others come here for activities like basketball or proper personal training sessions. Plenty of free parking but it might be full if coming in early morning as this park is close to St Leonards station so many park here and take...

I use this park for time wasting when I have to. I can see lots of school kids playing soccer, and older age as well. Rugby as well. It is likely that you need to book the stadiums beforehand. Basketball courts are not so busy, but some rings need repair. I just run around the park or walk - usually for an hour. It has lots of light.
