Arthur's Pizza Bexley — Restaurant in Sydney

Would give it no stars if possible. Ordered a Peri Peri pizza (don't bother ordering this unless you enjoy a surprise tandoori). The "manager" came to deliver the replacement and began arguing with me that the tandoori is a Peri Peri. He continued to argue that the Peri Peri pizza on the website is different because of "lighting". However the website shows a Peri Peri sauce and tandoori was delivered to me. Not sure how that works. Anyway, will never order from here again as he tried to play the victim card and say I was "rotting the system". I'm definitely not type to complain however I've never experience someone being abrupt or so rude to a customer before. He did not even give me the replacement pizza and had to return the "Peri peri". Worst customer experience.

29/07 Response to the below: I can confirm it was a Tandoori pizza and the "manager" confirmed it uses a TANDOORI sauce on the pizza. Why would I order a peri peri and say it isn't then decline both pizzas when you arrive? You came to my house insulting us and were extremely aggressive. No customer service skills at all. I have had a negative experience with this restaurant twice now. The first time, I received half of what I had ordered. The part that was missing was refunded, not the entire order ( They blamed the computer system even though there was a receipt on the pizza boxes showing all of the items). This time, I ordered two large meals which included four pizzas. One of the pizzas, the seafood pizza, arrived in poor condition, and the other three pizzas were stone cold. I contacted the store immediately, provided photos, but was told that it was the fault of the delivery drivers, not the restaurant. My order was placed through Arthur's Pizza website (After pointing this out they did take responsibility). They promised a refund, but it has been two weeks and I have not received it yet. couldn't resist the fettuccine marinara, which was so generous with the amount of seafood given I was shocked! huge, juicy prawns, mussels, calamari, and even octopus! 🐙 i really liked the marinara sauce that it was tossed in, rich tomato flavour with a hint of chilli, it was just really really good pasta 🍝

the Bello and Parma pizzas were quite good, I liked the thin base and generosity of toppings but I'm not a big fan of the huge slices of fresh tomato on em 🍅 felt they were too acidic and took away the richness and warmth of the pizza!

a chicken caesar salad 🥗 was the fresh element that worked perfectly to break up all the heaviness, and again was super generous with the chicken and bacon pieces 🥓 and ofc can't forget the garlic bread! a staple but done well, huge and soft fluffy pieces of bread slathered in garlic butter... need I say more? 🤤
