I have been coming to this restaurant for years. It’s always the same friendly service with excellent food. After not visiting for several years due to a new work relocation I was so pleased to drive here knowing that it’s still here. I’ve recently moved to parramatta and I find the Thai food in parramatta is not really good quality. It’s either it’s swimming in fish sauce or the flavours are way off. Baan chiang is authentic. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are generous. I wish they were on Uber eats. But until that happens I’ll always drive over :)

We came in a large group and was able to reserve a table via phone call even though we were eating late into the night. The lady serving us was friendly and even sectioned off our order in the order notes. Initially we were skeptical at the pricing of the food but I would actually say that this place justifies its price with quality and the quantity you receive. The food was fragrant and flavorful and I just wished I had enough stomach to try dessert too. This cosy place surprised me and has exceeded my expectations. Good work :)

Had dinner after work after goggling this place that won’t disappoint. Small quiet lovely atmosphere. Good amount of serving per dish. We ordered stir fry seafood and in the photo, coconut prawns and thai fried rice for two equals take away for work the next day. Would recommend this place.

I'd probably give this a high 3.5 but overall perhaps deserves a 4.

firstly, BOOK. we arrived at 6.30pm on a wednesday with half of the small place occupied. By just after 7, it was full. The standout dish was the red duck curry. Extremely good. full of everything you would expect.

Our other choices of Chicken and basil stirfry was about mid quality with perfect vegetable and a pinch overdone chicken. But lacking of that punchy taste. If you like chilli, ask for some prik nam pla (spicy lime fish sauce) very nice balance seasoning.

We also had money bags (interesting). Perfectly crispy, didn't expect corn within and crab, but hey, possibly should have read that part of the menu instead of the headline. Perfectly fine, just unexpected.

OMG, the staff were brilliant. So polite and accommodating. available without being overbearing at all. $45 for two people with plenty of food left to take with us.

Summary,...

I never write reviews and i certainly do not post to facebook but...15 dishes, 10 people - aged 6 to 60 - and everyone loved every dish!! It just does not happen! Obviously a family restaurant - food is fresh, when they say chilli they mean Zing not burn - the kids lapped it up and while we obviously were not the first to find it - showing up early paid! I watched as 6 couples and 2 families walked in tonight and as they hadn't booked, they did not get a table - all but one couple talked outside then came back in and ordered take away!!!! What a great place - BYO...but then your next door to BWS so no...

A hidden treasure. This is a small family run restaurant, about 22 seats. Every table was decorated with a fresh orange Gerber, with the tables covered with traditional Thai table clothes. The place looks immaculate, smart and clean. We are meet with a friendly smile. The menu is traditional Thai fare, all nicely presented in a fresh, clean menu. The pricing is very reasonable. We decide on the Massaman Curry and the Chicken, Ginger & Shallot Sauce. I like the mushrooms. All accompanied by steamed rice. The food and service is excellent. We will definitely be back. This place...
