The worst experience I have ever had in my life. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I called up on Saturday to put a cake aside at 10:30. Was told she didn’t know what cakes they were and to call back at 12:30. This lady was in charge on shift and didn’t know what cakes they were. I did and she still didn’t know but finally got one put aside. Once I arrived at 3:30, I had to wait 20 minutes for the lady to get off her phone to which I was then told that she “hadn’t actually put a cake aside for me”. I then asked if I could just buy a cake from stock. I was told yes but then she didn’t even know what cakes were in stock. Every time I asked what a cake was she just ran out the back to check a sheet. Frustrated I finally just pointed to a cake to buy. She then wrote “happy birthday” on the top which looked TERRIBLE. You couldn’t even make out what it was meant to say. After that she told me “she usually isn’t meant to write on cakes as she didn’t know how”. To “fix” this she got a “happy birthday” plaque and placed it right on top of the “happy” she had written. I purchased the cake for $70 as I was so frustrated and wanted to leave. Once I got home (an 1hr away) I went to serve the cake for my sisters 18th birthday. That’s when I found out it was A PLASTIC DISPLAY CAKE!!! Been a fan of Ben and Jerry and have had their ice cream at home. This is the first time I had one in a physical store and I didn’t enjoy it.

When me and my friend first arrived, no one help us and we are pretty confused. The staff immediately stand and opened the window door ready to scoop ice cream but I haven’t even decide and he said nothing, not suggesting anything. We don’t even know we can try until we have asked.

After picking, the staff took the cup assuming we want this but I don’t even know we can choose cone until I saw and asked. There is some selection of cone but there was no description for it. He did not suggest anything and was staring at us just waiting for us to ask.

Then i ask him and he suggested the peanut one and the cone not up to par. Peanut was not crispy and the chocolate is bitter. The cone was also not crispy and too thick. It does not goes well with my ice cream. Ice cream was bit expensive for one scoop but the flavor was okay.

I enjoyed eating at home and I don’t think it is worth eating it in a shop. Though the atmosphere was okay, the service was terrible and the staff was not friendly feeling we were not...

By one guy who worked on March 16, 2025, at around 12:00 PM.

I bought a Regular Cone for 8.90 AUD, but when I paid, he charged me 10.90 AUD.

When I asked for the receipt, he told me he had overcharged me by 2 AUD and offered to refund it. He then asked me to tap my card again.

But when I tapped, I didn’t read the screen carefully, and I saw the word ‘donation.’

——— After I rechecked my credit app, I found that I might have been charged 2 AUD twice.

That’s really bad.

Sorry for my poor English that not very good. And I trusted your country too much.

But what’s even more disappointing is that this guy, as a representative of your country, acted dishonestly.

So I decided to use Google Reviews, so the owner can check on the person who worked that day and do something about him.

But if he is the owner himself, then this review will stand as a reflection of his actions.”
