The black duck A charming and friendly spot conveniently located in the heart of richmond. This place offers some of richmonds best: Kind, family feel, genuine service. Nothing is too hard and their loyal customers who seem like friends line up out the door. First in town to open, and all smiles this is one of the nicest places to spend your morning. They serve excellent coffee and dont skimp on the decaf either! The breakfasts foods look simple and hearty. Personally i tried the granola/yoghurt cup which was the perfect balance of freshness and crunch. Im glad i have such a wonderful and reliable place in my new town. They were also open every day during the holiday season.

In my mind this is the test for any cafe. The macchiato was so good I went back for a second. Great blend, well constructed, just the right length and a gorgeous flavour. My brekkie was the ubiquitous and much maligned smashed avocado with trimmings and a fried egg on top. This dish was also a winner. The rest of the menu was interesting with sufficient variety to keep most happy. The staff are delightful. I had a great start to my day. Back there tomorrow.

Good morning my beauties 😀 great staff so nice and polite. We are no fuss people so long blacks for us and it was great. The food was absolutely amazing, I had the breaky wrap my wife the smashed avo and our son the pear and raspberry bread. They were all amazing. Next time we are in town (we were here for the PBR) we will be back.

This venue is the pure definition of 5 star service, food and atmosphere.. If you are ever within 100 kms of this cafe then you should seriously make an effort to visit, it is worth the effort and then some... Demi and the team provide exceptional service; both friendly and professional, they just make you feel absolutely welcome..

The food is amazing, the breakfast burger is to die for.. I will NEVER visit Richmond again and not visit this amazing little slice of paradise...
