Given it was after 3pm, a lot of cafes had closed for the day. I wandered around and found Cafe Fraiche near the Coles supermarket - still open and still serving. It turned out to be a really friendly little place; some more customers came in while I was there, and I think it says something when people are comfortable to have a chat while waiting for a coffee.
