Visited the CYCA for the first time and after a nice morning on the water we had breakfast at Blond Catering which is housed within the yacht club but also has w window for service independent of the club. The bacon and egg breakfast sandwich was super tasty, the season brioche bun good choice to even out the salty bacon and egg. I ordered mine with hash browns - $13 price is pretty good. Travelling from UK we arranged to meet friends here for lunch. Service was very disappointing and the fact that l had a shellfish/fish allergy was an inconvenience to the staff. They could not guarantee cross contamination (which l appreciate them telling me ) and said at best l could eat a garden salad. Was embarrassing for my guests to eat whilst l could not . Beautiful setting at the yacht club, but visitors are welcome; you just need to check in at the front desk first. The deck overlooks the water and boats. You order at a window, pick up any drinks you'd like to have at the bar, and pick a table. The menu does change, but the food is always very good.
