Blue Buddha Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Sydney

Have been to this place multiple times and each time there is something different about the food and staff... Staff are always rude and not assertive and are not willing to help. They'd rather sit on their phones or talk amongst each other instead of serve their customers.

Went to pay the bill and their was a sign that stated there was a minimum of $25 on card and my table's bill cost almost $50, so I paid using my AMEX card. After paying, and about to walk out, the woman called me back and said that I paid with an AMEX card so they now need to charge me a surcharge at which i replied, it does not state anywhere that you charge extra. She then ignored me and typed in an additional $2.00 on the eftpos terminal and demanded i pay the surcharge. I refused and stated that by law, they need to state that they charge a fee otherwise they cannot do so and then to top it all off.. she grabbed my card out of my hand and tapped the eftpos machine and said, bye.

YOU DO NOT TAKE SOMEONE'S CARD OUT OF THEIR HANDS AND CHARGE A $2.00 SURCHARGE FEE WHEN THEIR IS NO SIGNAGE.

I will not be returning to this restaurant and will not be suggesting it to any of my friends. You should be ashamed of yourself. I own a cafe and the fee should not be passed onto a customer. Don't...

Went in yesterday for dinner. Ordered the lamb cutlets to be shared between 2 children. Menu said 4 cutlets so 2 each. Waitress then comes back after taking our order and said cutlets come with 3 cutlets not 4. I told her the menu clearly states 4. She goes back to the kitchen and the 'manager' comes out saying no 3 and even we show her the menu we had she said that must be an old menu and showed us a menu with white out (clearly just done, it was white out over the plastic covering of the menu). We had been given 4 menus and all said 4. Clearly trying to be deceitful. We couldn't believe it. We walked out. Such rude service and dishonest. We had ordered so much else so to lose a while big order over 1 cutlet! Seriously! Clearly they don't care about service or the customer. I guess that's why their shop was empty when we got there at dinner time!...

I went here today 29/3/18 at 6pm. The restaurant not really busy. The food is great but all Became so tasteless because of one particular waitress poorly served us. She is a skinny short girl with short hair and a bit older than the others. Her customer service the worst so far in any food service i have ever been in 2018.

She was on the phone taking order and i was patiently waiting for almost 10 mins. She didnt even want to see my face or at least she could say ‘wait a minute please’ but she kept ignoring me. After finished talking on the phone she didnt even apilogise. She then said the price i have to pay. After paying. She didnt even say thank you. Really worst customer service. What make it worst, she didnt even smile. Nothing personal, but this is the fact. Because of this poor customer service, i would never come again....
