Bombay Tandoori/Tandoori Zone — Restaurant in Sydney

This is a shame as it really should be 4 or 5 stars are the food was great - but ordering and delivery was the worst experience. Ordered through their website which I can only assume no-one ever does, as when I called an hour after placing order they said they couldn't find the order and asked if I'd done it on menulog or deliveroo, or had I ordered through the surry hills restaurant. When they finally realised the order was there, they said it would be another 40 minutes. 1 hour 40 for food delivery isn't really acceptable, and they should close their website if they don't wish to take payments or receivd orders this way. Personally I prefer to go straight to restaurant as I know the delivery apps all take a big cut of the bill and I'd prefer the money to go to the restaurant. Anyway, food got here within the 40 mins, but then it was missing items. Called back up and they offered to refund but then said they'd be able to get them to me within 15 minutes. It was a bit longer but we did get the items, although by now it was long past 2 hours since I'd ordered and was nearly 9.30 at night. As I said, food was good but service otherwise sketchy at best. Relaxing and some food in ban Marie and others they cook to order. Samosas are delicious come in chicken or vege. Pickle marinade is yum with the curries gives it a kick and the fresh Garlic Nan was so good we ordered more while there. I had chickpea curry and honestly chicken curry. The chickpea curry was flavoursome and made my taste buds dance. Im not vegetarian but I love palak paneer but didn't want to wait and the alternate option was a good one with papadoms. My husband and his brother ordered half and half of butter chicken, lamb korma, chicken tika and butter chicken as well and they also had a piece of chicken tikka samosas drinks and they enjoyed the meals too. Lady was great who served us as they didn't know what they wanted so we're back and forth and it's a real local place. Really nice and located by the lights on Botany Road in Mascot opposite the pub. Guess what “ I paid for my meal fully but didn’t eat that and it because of bad n rude service and unhygienic service by bread maker. A guy staff named “Hassan” was rude Bcse a lady staff on front was serving me with a smile as I was trying to know what their thali deals are as staff introduce me those meal for dine in- staff prepared the rice plate with meat curry and I was waiting for Plain Naan.
