I used to come to this restaurant quite often and be one of my favorite and last time I went there and ordered Penyet Pack that comes with a drink and a soup, the cashier asked me what kind of soup do I want and I told her what I wanted and choosed the sambal (the side sauce) for the meal, the food came with different sambal without the soup and I have to take my own drink… Okay maybe the waitress still preparing the soup and will come soon until I finished my food and the waitress walked around feels like nothing is wrong and the restaurant not even busy that time
And this is not the first time happened to me. It was happened before and I came to the cashier and asked the staff, where is the soup and my drink? and now it’s happened again ! Like seriously?! guys I ordered what’s on the menu what’s come with the meal and Pay for it and this is not my things to come to the staff every time I order something and it doesn’t come like what it should be and tell them what is wrong and ask them like Im asking for a free food that I don’t have to pay
Please look after your customers and if you are not ready to work there at least tell your manager or whoever is there and not ruined someone’s order especially they come with empty stomach and expecting to enjoy what ordered without a problem and pay for it
I write this review as a reminder for the owner and the staff that work there bc this is happened twice and I don’t want it happen to someone else and I like your foods and it will be sad to lose one or maybe more of your customers just because you don’t pay enough attention to...
Read moreUpdate: feb 2021. I have come here a few times to order different things at 8pm and they are always SOLD OUT. I find that a bit annoying.
Also the food takes 30mins to took.
So I have changed this rating to 4 stars.
Below was my old review
2020 Wow loved this place.
The food was great. I ordered the veggie meal which was eggplant and tofu and tempeh.
There was an acoustic band and they were wonderful. I love their tunes. They play on friday nights.
I really liked the vibes in here on friday night with live music.
Good value for money coz it's like 10 bucks for a big plate of food.
They took time to cook the food which means its fresh.
You have to pay first then sit down so you have to chase for customer service.
When I got to my table, the table was wiped but not my seat. There were crumbles on my chair.
I hope the owner will see thisnso that they can tell their staff to wipe down chairs.
You gotta get ur own cutlery and napkins at the self service desk. And there is a tap to wash hands. I think Asian restaurants do this.
Toilets were okay. It had a bad smell from prior.
Its located on belmore road and it is easy to find parking once it's dark. Good spot.
See below my summary.
Summary. Out of 5 stars.
Customer service - 4/5 Price of food/drink - 5/5 Waiting time for food/drink - 3/5 Ambience - 5/5 Comfort and space of table and seating - 5/5 Cleanliness of place - 4/5 Location -...
Read more✍️EDIT: I want to support this business, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my last visit. I ordered two items from the menu: The Bakar Pack and Ayam Penyet with Rice. The menu picture indicated that The Bakar Pack meal comes with a Teh Kotak drink. I specifically chose The Bakar Pack because it included Teh Kotak. However, I received Teh Botol instead, and the staff did not inform me that Teh Kotak was unavailable before I made the payment.
Additionally, the rice was extremely dry and difficult to chew. Another issue was with the reward card. The card states, "Buy 10 meals with rice and get smashed chicken for free, each meal minimum purchase $15." Since we bought two meals with rice (The Bakar Pack and Ayam Penyet with Rice), each costing $21 and $17 respectively, I expected to receive two stamps. However, we were only given one stamp. When I inquired about this, the staff informed me that you can only get one stamp per purchase/bill😩😐
I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the customer experience.
