Type: Phone and collect (takeaway) Order: Chicken Schnitzel w/ creamy mushroom sauce - 5/5 presented with a GENEROUS portion, chicken crumbed and cooked perfectly as were the veggies. The sauce was flavoursome. Chicken and Mushroom Risotto - 5/5 excellent portion, cooked to perfection, flavoursome. Garlic Bread - 5/5 once again excellent portion, tasty. Margarita Pizza, regular - 5/5 absolutely inhaled, excellent crust and base, tasty topping. Mexicana Pizza, regular - 5/5 if OH hadn't of eaten all the risotto, I'm sure he would've demolished his pizza in one sitting as well, however, he's pleased he has half a pizza for lunch tomorrow! Toppings were authentically tasty and portioned well.

Summation:

I wish I'd taken a photo now, but our family demolished the order. Not since a previous state we lived in, have we had such a wonderful Italian dinner. I can't really rate the atmosphere of the actual restaurant as we ordered take out, but upon entering the establishment, it had such a cosy, homely feel. The staff were friendly and the food was ready by the time we arrived to pick up. We will most definitely be visiting again and have now found another 'local' favourite to add to our small list of deliciousness.

The cost of the overall order was extremely reasonable for the size of the portions and quality...

We attended the restaurant for a mates birthday as he desired a good lasagna. We ordered a couple of garlic breads, a couple of pizzas, a greek salad, and a lasagna ($134 each of us had a coke). It's not made easy as we tried to work out what size pizza suited us best, but there were no pans on the wall to indicate size difference

The first thing that annoyed us was the heart of an iceberg lettuce was served up in a greek salad. I am not even getting into whether lettuce has any place in a greek salad, but why leave and serve up the heart?

Next was they seemed to use the microwave a lot, which is probably why my mate said his lasagna was watery...? You would think that any pasta would be accompanied by parmesan but no we had to ask..?!

Pizza was Ok, but the seafood pizza came with just prawns and cheap basa fish. We thought there was a scallop, but we were mistaken it was just a chunk of basa in a circle.

We were at the end of our meal when an arm lunged diagonally over me from behind. I was startled and looked around to see the owner/manager retrieving the parmesan from our table without so much as an "excuse me, are you finished with the parmesan"

Disappointed as it failed to impress on multiple fronts, and we ultimately all agreed we...

Great experience here We had flown back from Ho Chi Minh City and were having an overnight stop at a nearby airport hotel. The weather wasn't great, it was cold, wet and windy. Anyway, we googled up some nearby restaurants then went for a walk. We approached the main strip and started looking for somewhere warm and quick to eat. This pizzeria it was. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to sit at a table of 4. The staff were lovely, genuine and took our drink and entree order, then came back for the mains. The decor was pretty cool, we noticed memorabilia of soccer players, old photos of famous people, traditional Italian charm and much more. We chatted with our waitress on many occasions and she was very pleasant and helpful. We had garlic bread and arrincini balls, very nice, then shared 2 pizzas. we also had a bottle of red wine. It was a lovely meal, just what we needed to warm us up. We noticed they had signs displayed noting a surcharge on credit card payments and that "cash is king" and preferred. Hubby went to close atm to withdraw cash, so we can avoid unnecessary charges. I think the owner liked that he did this, then sent his waiter over with 2 on the house Lemoncello shots. Thank you so much What a...

An old school Italian family restaurant with charm, atmosphere and personality. It's a place your Nonna or Nonno would love (or would have). It's one of the oldest Italian restaurants I know; a testament to how good the food and service is. Despite being located in snobby Sydney, the restaurant is anything but. It's a true delight to dine there, with friendly service, great food and good vibes. The Chicken Risotto I had was perfection - and they even had traditional Italians chilli oil for me to spice it up. My daughter had the pesto penne and loved it (they made it for her in a kids size, despite it not being on the menu). We had so much food, we left half and they gave us takeaway containers - so we got two full meals out of it. Highly recommend making the trip there. The food and restaurant isn't anything fancy, but it doesn't need to be... What's even better is it doesn't try to be 😎

I cannot stress enough just how phenomenal Zio Pino Pizzeria is! As someone who travels frequently interstate for work, I’ve tried Pizza all across our fine country - with saying that, Zio Pino Pizzeria would have to be without a doubt, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is fantastic, you’re greeted you an infectious smile as soon as you walk in, all of the staff and Zino are extremely friendly and helpful with regards to choosing the perfect pizza. I’ll definitely be coming here again the next time I’m in Sydney (thanks to Hamish and Andy for putting what’s already a popular/phenomenal pizzeria on my radar Photos don’t do justice to how tasty the chicken pizza and garlic bread was (I ate half the garlic bread on the walk back to the hotel 🤤)
