I spent a long weekend in Sydney visiting friends locally and we came here twice.

Friday late afternoon for a few cocktails before dinner - which was a perfect choice as it has the most chilled, bright and airy sunny afternoon vibes. I felt like everything from the decor, the music and the drinks just screamed "Bondi" and I truly felt like I was on holidays in this bar.

We returned the next day, lured by the ads for Bottomless Brunch that they host on the weekend. Saturday afternoon was just as fab, slightly busier but the venue felt spacious and efficient even when busy. The selection of drinks was 10/10 and the FOOD was SO GOOD & abundant. The highlight was the pulled lamb shoulder sausage rolls & truffle arancini 🤌🤌

I would definitely recommend the Saltwater Gin & tonic as well as the spicy margatini. I am a huge gin lover and next time I visit i will definitely try...

Ordered 3 dishes and got zero wishes out of them.

"Gnocchi braised lamb, white wine and rosemary ragu" - My metaphorical Nonna is screaming "where's the salt?!"

Medium-Rare "Sirloin Strip chargrilled with lemon and butter served with chimichurri" - nothing like a freshly frozen sirloin out of the freezer that has been cooked a bit too Well-done for our liking (or anyone's liking... also minus the lemon, butter and the chimichurri... and you're just left with just strips of sad heated meat). It was funny when the patron behind me also said "where's the chimichurri?"

"BLC Cheeseburger milk bun, beef patty, American cheese, onion, pickle, ketchup & mustard mayo. Includes fries" - TBH, it just needed more TLC (... to everything, including the selection of patty which was chewy and fatty).

Cheers for the Coffee Vodka - probably the most flavourful thing...

Bondi Liquor is an absolute gem! I had an incredible time at the bar, enjoying both the bustling Bondi streetscape and fantastic drink recommendations from the attentive staff. The saltwater Martini is a must try! What amazed me were the experimental bottles available to taste. The sea salt vodka was outstanding. With limited stock, they offered to create a bottle for me within 24-48hrs! Due to my time constraints, they kindly provided the last of the available portion in a beautifully repackaged, sealed and personalised bottle! Adrian and the team made my visit truly special.
