What a fantastic breakfast experience! The moment we arrived at Brooklyn's Corner, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Lucinda. Her recommendations were spot on—my partner adored the fig and apricot sourdough toast, and my scrambled eggs with bacon, salmon, and brown sourdough were a generous and delicious serving. The coffee was absolutely amazing, a testament to their skill. It was so great to see how Lucinda greeted and knew everyone who came in, which shows just how much of a local gem this cafe is. Highly recommend for the incredible food, excellent coffee, and a truly welcoming atmosphere.

We had coffee and pastry at this place on recent short trip to Brooklyn area. The raspberry and pistachio pastry has nice fillings, but the texture was not crispy enough. The coffee was good though. Prices on the menu are premium as expected from this tourism spot. The cafe is quite small but has good ambience. Customer services from staff members are reasonable for small cafe in tourism spot area. You can pay with credit cards.

My wife and I had breakfast here. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and it was great to see the proprietor mentoring her new staff. We had bacon and egg rolls with avocado and the home made tomato sauce. The bacon was nice and crispy and the sauce was so good we got a jar to take home. My wife really enjoyed her weak latte.

Very disappointed with our visit. The only hot drink I have is hot chocolate and the hot chocolate here is very ordinary. It had a mild flavour and clumps of undissolved chocolate powder in the bottom of the cup.

Our food also took 45 minutes to be served. The haloumi burger was then delivered without haloumi (the haloumi was provided a few minutes later with an apology).

See that photo online of the filled croissant with the delicately cut avocado on the side? Didn’t happen for me. There was no side of avocado. The croissant was also slightly burnt. The sauce used on the poached eggs was nice though.

After waiting so long we just wanted to leave and continue our journey and wish we’d chosen somewhere else.

We went there because they seemed to have nice reviews. They were possibly just having a bad day. We won’t return as there are too many other...

I only do Decaf, so my expectations are never high for coffee. My first coffee here was so good (best in memory) I've come back for more in my East Coast travels most times. It's at least 5 minutes off the highway on a small windy (cute) road but there's a nice headland walk to get your circulation restarted. If you do like to walk instead of sit in this quaint little cafe, while you sip your hot new favourite, check out the neaby Riverside bathing enclosure - only for competent swimmers as it's not shallow. This Cafe is small, not a franchise, frequented by a regular steam of locals, many out walking with dogs or friends. And they do pastries, and cakes. I've never had time to eat...

Oh my gosh ! How bad and unfriendly can a cafe be ?

Walked in on a Sunday with my wife to enjoy a nice brekkie to be completely ignored … eventually came a forced ‘hi’ when we sat down. Others walking up to counter served whilst continued to be ignored.

The pretend cook with a grumpy look didn’t even bother to say hi and honestly was dressed like he came off the street and was thrown in to cook.

The cooking equipment looks so primitive and so unhygienic you wander how on earth this place gets 4.7 on Google.

Dead flies all over window where we sat and eventually patience ran out and we walked out.

Can’t say you have not...
