Fitzies Fish and Chips — Restaurant in Sydney

Once again, we’ve had awesome fish and chips here at Fitzies. The seafood are fresh and tender, batter on the fish and potato scallops is light and crispy while the crumbing on calamari rings is nicely crunchy. Everything we ordered is cooked to perfection just like every other times we’ve been here. We have never had a bad meal here, quite honestly, which is the reason we keep returning for more! Fitzies truly makes one of the finest fish and chips. The food is always fresh, batter very light and crispy, simply a delight each and every time. Today we sampled some of the freshest, fattest oysters! We could not give enough praise. Friendly service with a smile! Five stars...

Food came quicker this time (waited 45 mins last time) but young waitress attitude was appalling. Asked to see the three order dockets and was told two were thrown away when we wanted to clarify they have missed one of our dishes. Was served the dish afterwards with attitude and said this is what you asked for and here it is, "no dockets and I'm busy and you did not pay for it". We DID pay for it, just because she threw away the order dockets and couldn't clarify with us, it's apparently our fault. never...

Had fish and chips and my wife had salt and pepper squid, The fish was oily with soggy batter and not particularly tasty. The salt and pepper squid, although the flavour of the batter was tasty, again soggy with no crunch at all, the squid itself was mushy and flavourless. The chips where pretty good except they where smothered in salt, not sure why they would put so much salt on when there is salt...
