A Hidden Gem with a Heartwarming Vibe!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Charlie Lovett in Peakhurst and I can't rave enough about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was immersed in the cozy and friendly atmosphere. The staffs warm smiles and genuine hospitality truly set the tone for a wonderful visit.
The menu is a delightful journey of flavors! I tried the grilled chicken burger, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and moist chicken that was bursting with freshness. Each bite was a testament to the care and quality they put into their food. Not to mention, the coffee was exceptional—rich and aromatic, just how I like it! They don’t do syrups, however the owner offered to put honey in for something new, and it was absolutely delicious. Might even be my new go to now.
The atmosphere of the cafe is another highlight. The cozy decor and inviting ambiance create a perfect backdrop for any occasion, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone with a book. It’s a place that just makes you want to linger a little longer. As the cafe is open until 9pm from Thursday - Sunday, you can do just that.
For those driving in, the on-site parking is a major plus—no more circling the block looking for a spot! And I appreciate that the cafe is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this delightful spot without any hassle.
Overall, Charlie Lovett is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The owner is super friendly and will solve any queries hassle free. I can’t wait to return and try more of their mouthwatering menu!...

Working from home, opted to get a morning coffee. The door was closed and required to open by turning the handle. Went back to the car, to get a tissue to open the door without touching the handle. Considering, how contagious and wide spread this Delta strain is.
I mentioned to the staff member. The response was rather dismissive. That they have to have the door closed because the heater is on. Seriously... We are in a pandemic, we are lockdown, stuck in a 5km radius, people have lost income.
It is not okay to make people touch a handle that clearly doesn't get wiped after each customer. When it could be kept open. It's not even a pushy or pull sort of door, you have to turn the handle.
Most other cafes have actually closed off their doors and serving customers through the window. This may be a better option for this cafe to implement in their way in reducing the risk of...
Read moreWent to this cafe in Peakhurst this morning for the first time ever, ordered a breakfast wrap without mushroom. As they had some pre-made, I asked if I could have a fresh one to avoid the mushroom, to which the friendly staff happily obliged. The first few bites were delicious, however by the 4th bite it was evident the scrambled eggs inside the wrap were not cooked properly and the wrap was full of runny egg whites. I had to throw the wrap in the bin, which was an unfortunate waste of $15.90! I think if the eggs were properly cooked, the wrap would have been very tasty but it was an unfortunate first impression. The staff were friendly, and the cafe looked nice but was disappointed with the raw eggs. If I didn't have an appointment to get to, I would have brought it back and asked for a remake as that's quite a lot of money to throw away, but I ordered take away food as I needed to be...
