I recently ordered from Chat Time for the first time at their St. Mary's location, and it was a huge disappointment. As regular customers, weâve always enjoyed their drinks at other locations, so we decided to try this one through an online order. We added (paid extra) for herbal jelly toppings, but when we received our drinks, there was only one piece of jelly in each cup. To make matters worse, the boba was also reduced to a much smaller amount than what weâre used to at other stores. It was quite clear that the portion sizes here were much smaller than at other locations, which was frustrating.
I was really surprised by this experience, especially considering how generous the other stores are with their toppings. Itâs no wonder this particular store is never busy â they really need to step up their game and stop being so stingy with the toppings if they want customers to come back and make the shop more popular.
In hindsight, I shouldâve checked the reviews before ordering, but this experience definitely left me disappointed. I hope they improve the quality and service, as itâs not what weâve come to expect...

Despite this, my order was completely wrong. I had requested a hot milk tea with herbal jelly and a large Thai milk tea with custard and pearls. Instead, I received a cold milk tea with herbal jelly and pearls and a large Thai milk tea with custard. These were not even close to what I ordered.
When I pointed out the mistake, she responded defensively, claiming I hadn't specified wanting a hot milk tea. I had clearly mentioned it from the start.
To my surprise, she even mentioned that she'd have to cover the cost of the wrong drinks if she remade them. This is not an issue I, as a customer, should be concerned about. And with that kind of attitude, it's really disappointing.
She eventually offered to make new drink, but I declined and had already decided to leave this review.

   Read moreI visited St. Mary's Chatime today. I ordered two drinks, both with cream mousse. One drink came without any mousse, and the other had only a tiny amount on top. When I addressed the issue with the staff, the girl did not respond, took the drink with no mousse, and walked off. She added a tiny bit of mousse before putting a new lid on the cup.
To make matters worse, her colleague noticed that the lid wasnât applied properly, removed it, poured some out, and tried to apply a new lid. However, due to the layers of plastic from previous attempts, the lid was still not sealed correctly, causing leaks and making it difficult to insert the straw.
The issue with the amount of mousse was never addressed and, given that the topping costs an extra $1.50, receiving such a minimal amount was especially disappointing.
The overall lack of attention to detail and poor customer service left me frustrated. It's disheartening to see such poor service at a Chatime; I have not experienced this at any other locations. I wonât...
