CHERIES Cakes Pies Expresso — Restaurant in Sydney

"I'm extremely disappointed with my recent purchase from this coffee shop. I ordered a moka with cold almond milk, but when I opened the cup, I was shocked to find it was significantly underfilled.

When I brought this to their attention, they claimed that they use less milk because it foams and bubbles when heated. However, I specifically ordered my drink cold, so this explanation doesn't hold up.

To add insult to injury, they charge almost a dollar extra for almond milk, and yet they still skimp on the quantity. I've never experienced this kind of discrepancy at other coffee shops.

As a customer, I feel misled and ripped off. Paying almost $7 for a half-full cup of coffee is unacceptable. I hope the management takes steps to address this issue and provides better value for their...

Looked at their website menu and decided to drive there and try when I walked in there were no customers and the 3 people serving were deep in chat,eventually someone served me and I asked for a pie off their menu and was told they didn't do those then I asked for 3 pasties ,also on their website menu and was told again we don't do those,I said they are on their menu on the website and she said yeah sorry so then finally asked for a spinach quiche for my son and was told we don't have them then was told they have just come out of the oven then was told sorry they will be 10 to 15 minute wait so decided to go to a proper pie shop that has what they advertise ,Brooky Pies .i don't recommend Cheries...

We arrived around 1pm on Saturday and ordered $95 worth of pies and sausage rolls. We were told by the girl at the counter they were shutting down and could not take a seat at the tables. Without sounding pedantic, she was very unfriendly. They made mistakes with the order too. It just felt like they were in a hurry to leave. We also noticed they were still open after we got back to our cars. The pies and sausage rolls were nice but the service was average to put it nicely. For the same money we could have had a sit down meal at one of the coffee shops on the main strst...
