Deep Sea Food — Restaurant in Sydney

The owner told me when I placed my order that the last time we were there that we didn't spend enough money to warrant to use one of his tables. We actually spent over one hundred dollars for six adults and two children. When I told my husband how rudely I was treated by the owner he went up to the counter and confronted the owner and told him that he was very rude to me , he again replied that on our previous visit to his shop we had not enough money and that his rent was $ 3100 and we should eat at Macdonalds. He also sad that we had been there for four to five hours (with two young children and an 80 year old) WHICH IS TOTALLY UNTRUE !!! My husband responded by telling him he doesn't speak to idiots like him to which he replied that I should go and see the doctor across the road. WE WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL BE TELLING ALL OUR FRIENDS ABOUT HOW BADLY AND RUDELY WE WERE...

Great fish and chips place. Good quality grub but very understaffed when we went (Feb 2023, just coming out of Covid and struggled to hire).

Long wait and they missed part of what we ordered. Overheard another customer complaining about missing order when I was ordering. The manager/owner(?) despite of being tired and tiny bit grumpy, offered to make up the missed order or refund. Respect the professional and responsible attitude. 👍

The best on the Northern Beaches. Real potatoe scallops, great salads, fresh seafood, generous serving, top quality oil changed regularly, hence why it's never dripping in oil and service is always A+. People have mentioned it's expensive. I personally prefer to pay a little more for quality and that's what you'll get every time. Not once have I been disappointed Andy the owner is always kind and accommodating. My cousins from the U.K. miss his fish and chips!! Proud to...
