There is some extremely serious leagal issues going on at this venue. Did you know if you're alone at this venue you're a prime target? I am autistic I have multiple disabilities. I have extremely limited relationships in my life due to my disabilities.
I go to a place that I think I know, I go to a place where I frequent, I go a place that I thought was safe and inclusive of everyone. This is not the case. It is not safe for disabled people.
They welcome you let you get comfortable, they take your money. Then when some waisted women falls on top of a disabled person who has multiple disabilities, is in chronic pain and spills the disability pensioners drink all over the place the disabled person gets kicked out. How does that even work?
Sitting still in one place with one drink watching Mardi Gras. Someone wasted women falls on top of me spilling my entire drink everywhere, I am disabled with chronic pain conditions. I requested that she replace the drink she spilt, this has happened once before at this venue the staff had my back on this situation before on a previous night when this happened.
For some reason it's entirely inappropriate that I a disabled person have felt extremely unsafe in this venue whilst the one who did the damage run free just because of so called gender. I had to request security multiple times to extract the women who assaulted me on fell on me and did me halm. I have always 100% on point with this venue.
Did you know this venue dishes out discrimination and racisisum. Discriminatory behaviour towards disabled people of colour.
Absolutely descusting behaviour on this venues part. The owner needs to check fire and rehire a full new security team and full new bar team. This behaviour is unexpectable. Discriminatory and racist behaviour, an absolute disappointment. Do not go here.
The staff stole my prescription nicotine vapouriser which cost over $100 to replace.
This venue needs to fire and update all their security and bar services.
At my age with my disabilities, I've never experienced such discriminatory behaviour from...
Read moreI hired out Ching-a-Lings for my 30th birthday party and can't sing their praises enough. From the email consultation to viewing the venue to booking it in, Tosh (Co-Owner) and the team were so informative/receptive to all of my questions and enthusiastic about holding my event. I enquired with a lot of Sydney venues and Chingz easily had the best value for money with booking, minimum bar spend and food ordering (and/or ability to provide your own), PLUS an incredible sound system, DJ facilities and security. This is so rare in the current late-night climate!
On the day, I was so nervous/anxious (as any birthday girl is!), but on arrival Manager Laura and the bar staff immediately had everything under control and put me at ease. They assembled the platters, connected my music, made sure I had a cocktail and created an open, fun and clean environment. Throughout the night food was replenished, the bar was always attended and cake was served. I got to enjoy my party and be present, because I knew everyone was in such safe hands.
If you're hosting a fabulous event and want the space to match, 10/10...
Read moreI made a reservation for 15 people. They said they booked us a table for two hours. Sounded perfect as we didn't plan to stay seated the whole night anyway. Once in the club turned out that there was no table really booked for us and random people just came and sat with us.
Then, at 11pm a staff member literally kicked the 15 of us out of the venue! They said our time was up and we had to leave. That's a strange policy as most people in the club didn't have a booking and could just stay as long they want (like those who were using our table for example). They said that they would give us a $100 voucher as a compensation for the misunderstanding. That never happened.
Be aware that they kick out the patrons with a booking after two hours in the club.
Later in the night a staff member messaged us and was being ironical about...
