Creative play 2 yrs old review : Do not register ! I registered my 2 year old son last year for a term with high expectations due to the NIDA reputation. It was a completely failure! I attended 1 session in a very hot room without fan or aircon on a very hot day. There were no tables set up or chairs to sit on so we were instructed to sit on the floor in circle. We sang 2 standard kids songs (singing our name and old famous Mc Donald) Then we play a game to touch something we have never touched before, which was difficult because the room was completely empty of anything exciting. The educator was great however the equipment, furniture and overall environment were very poor for - especially for such a renowned institution! After 1 class, I contacted them explaining I would not be attending and future classes and asked for a refund which they then denied as it is hidden in their T&C’s. (I would say I’m not the first person to ask for a refund) Save your money, register your kid to literally any other class, this is the first class I have ever been disappointed with. (We do lots of classes...
Read moreI CANNOT recommend the Brisbane yr 11/yr12 school term course at all. There is no continuity of teachers. NIDA will not give you a copy of the recorded work so that you can see what your child has done during the course. NIDA does not respond at all to requests for improvement. And last straw, my child said AGAIN another change in teacher for Term 3. When the child asked what the teacher's name was the male teacher replied "You can call me 'Sir' but I prefer 'Lord' " and did not provide his name. I paid for the entire year - which is almost $2000 for 2 hours each school term Saturday. It is a huge waste of money. Your child's time would be way better spent making 60 second reels in their bedroom and put a portfolio together. Glorified expensive...
Read moreWe attended the Ettingshausen's "On Broadway" end of year concert at this venue last night and were very impressed with the theatre and the facilities. It's a spectacular building and enjoyed looking around he costume displays the foyer area, whilst sipping a glass of champagne from the bar. The theatre itself is impressive with comfortable seating and good, widespread views to the stage from most rows. We were fortunate to be mid centre, a few rows back from the front, so we had exceptional seating. There was ample parking, no issues there. All in all we had a great experience at this venue and look forward to returning to see another...
