The tall skinny short black haired bar manager social profiled me , I walked in to order a drink and he said I got into an argument with someone outside on my way home from trivia the week before, so he barred me πŸ˜† how ridiculous ! No questions about what happened or maybe someone was obknoxious and rude to me on my way home ( but this manager seems to have a victim mentality and I guess being obknoxious and rude is ok If he's sending it πŸ˜ŸπŸ™‚) but anyway he made up things, saying everyone complained about me which was a lie, on trivia night I gave up my table to a group and sat on a bar stool minding my own business except for one gentleman who we won a packet of Tim tams together! But whatever people like this shouldn't work in bars ,they are so over sensitive and a little power goes to their heads, it's just facts that Sydney has some of the worst bars and service in the world because of the arrogance and over policing of the venues from some of the people that work in venues in Sydney , these people just simply aren't bar people and shouldn't be working in bars .It's why so many people just don't bother going out anymore.Sydney is one of the most spectacular cities on the planet , but go walk around the city and it's like a ghost town a lot of nights ,and alot of it is the arrogance and bad service in venues from people like this ,I'm sure if this gentleman was social profiled he would carry on like the biggest Karen πŸ˜†β˜ οΈ but I'm actually glad he showed me his tru colours , knowone wants to drink at a bar run by a snowflake with a victim...

This place didn't allow me to smoke marijuana, but allowed locals do coca or iceΓ  there. So coca is allowed, but not green. Welcome to the crackheads house. Then the worker, they called him Mexican, he asked me to leave and his friend grabbed my hat and threw it on the floor. So crackhead was allowed to smoke coca and stay in there and be aggressive, but me as a stranger first time in there..first I thought it was cool place but then crackhead was attacking me and they allowed her to attack me. [Probably owners friend]. The crackhead was older lady trying to flirt with me and asked me to protect her. But nobody was attacking her. Then she told to the guys around the table that I was standing up for her as a woman and I didn't like the way how guys talked to her. Which is not true. She asked me if I can do that, I replied I can do it when it happens again, but will not say it to their friends now as it's none of my business. Then she started telling this until I said them, that it's not true. I never stood up for her. After that she went crazy. Grabbed my hat. What can I say. And then they kicked me out. Well. It's a crackhead house. So be careful, next time the crackhead will stabb you. I warn not to go there. Dangerous, very ...

Very funky designs. Classic vinyl records displayed as art. We stayed for weekend in hotel. Bar is jam packed on weekend couldnt get a table so we headed out. Staff were very friendly. Two thumbs up. Hotel is decent but budget. I didnt realise it was share bathrooms. Not enough google reviews on hotel to give a clear picture. Rooms are clean & adequate. Toiletries supplied. Tea & coffee supplied. Kettle only fits under 1 of the bathroom taps. Hotel room doors SLAM shut, all night all day. Noise from bar didnt bother us but street noise was so loud, i wondered if the walls had fallen down during night. Went home dog tired from the constant interrupted sleep. Beds/rooms are comfy & clean. Tv & channels were good. Mini fridge provided. Decent magazines in room. Rooms not serviced daily. Bathrooms were ok but needed a good deep scrub. The whole time we were there it looked like bathrooms were not scrubbed or mopped. If you are on a budget then you will be impressed with location, service & comfort of your room. Very...

A small bar with a small upstairs open seating area with a second bar which wasn't open during our visit & also with tables out on the footpath as well. It also has a bottle shop. We were there on a Saturday from midday. We ordered some Nachos from the menu but they were not available so we got corn chips with a small bowl of salsa sauce which was pretty ordinary. Was also hoping for some cider on tap but had to settle for cans instead. The bar is also dog friendly. Parking is not easy around here & is all paid ticketed parking as well

The Pad See Ew with beef was incredibly tasty. For $24 it was a decent meal. Highly recommend! My dish came in a timely manner, however other people ordered chips at the same time I did that took 5 mins longer. Did not order any drinks but the people I was with. Great location with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Outdoor seating had heaters too, perfect during winter. Kings Cross train station only a 8 minute walk from the Bar. Cannot comment on the rooms.

Super chill bar with a terrace that has just enough sunlight for a cheeky daytime weekend sesh. Adam, Myles and the team were more than happy to book several high tables and have our group mingle freely at the front near the bar as well as staying well past the scheduled duration. Darlo Bar is definitely best for a weekend arvo over a Friday night to avoid the crowds, else the downstairs lounge has a very funky feel ideally later in the evening.
