Never too happy with the quality of Thai Restaurants in Australia. The taste and quality were not too close to the quality that you can experience in Hong Kong or in Thailand. People told me that you can get authentic Thai food from Campbell Street / Chinatown but I have tried a few of them with good reviews but they were very so so. I visited this Eat Thai Darlinghurst on last weekend and I was a bit surprised as it's closer to the taste of Thai food that I was familar from Hong Kong. The price level was fair city prices but not cheap at all. If you are bored by the sub-standard / poor quality of Thai food generally available in Australia, why not giving yourself hope by trying this one. Outstanding items: Pineapple fried rice, crab meat fried rice, tom yum soup with prawns, green curry beef, beef and chicken skewers😋

If you have been to Thailand before and may be your memory persuade to the original Thai food like you ever have. I recommend this restaurant “Eat Thai” Darlinghurst. It’s not just the authentic Thai food which all dishes are created by Thai people moreover is the services and smile like Thai people which you may find in every time they come to your seat. We had Thai Miang Kham - Thai snack with lots of herbs and varies of taste, sweet and sour, bitters, spicy in the same time but after chewing it was melt in my mouth and leave me watering till the next dish, we love this one much. Padthai is the greatest, not too dry, not too wet, fresh vegetables and and I was very enjoy crispy salty dried shrimp on top which are good along with noodle. Crab meat fried rice is the best choice for my gal.

The worst yellow curry chicken I ever had in my life. The chicken was more or less rest parts of chicken. And served in a way as if it was on another table before. Who knows real Thai food from Thailand cannot really like that kind of „food“. And no alcohol to serve, but dirty tables which you need to ask to get cleaned because bad service does not recognize itself. Oh right - and if you don’t like your food you fully pay for the almost untouched dich and are allowed to order something else for full price. Astonishing. No idea how others can give such good ratings. Not worth to eat here. Plus it ruined our nice evening. I still feel sick after that experience.

Eat Thai in Darlinghurst is a true delight for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine.

Every dish is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients that really let the flavours shine. The coconut rice was fragrant and light, the panang curry rich and satisfying, and the betel leaf an absolute standout – crisp, fresh, and bursting with flavour. The san choy bow was also excellent, well-balanced and tasty.

The team are friendly, professional, and attentive. They create a welcoming environment, answering menu questions with ease and ensuring that the service is seamless throughout the meal.

The restaurant offers a bright and airy space that feels both relaxed and stylish. It’s an inviting setting that works perfectly for a casual meal with friends or a more special occasion.

For fresh, authentic Thai flavours and a relaxed dining experience, Eat Thai comes highly...

sorry I have to give a review of this shop, really the staff is bad and can't arrange which orders should be prioritized so riders are made to wait up to 1 hour and it's even worse. the staff even laughed at us who patiently waited mixed with emotions and what was worse was that the staff's attitude was very bad. I'm sorry, this is Australia, not Thailand, so don't bring bad habits in Thailand to Australia. work professionally.

Suggestions for shop owners to teach their staff to manage orders, when a rider comes, they are asked who the customer's name is and they are put in first place so that the chef cooks first and when there are more riders they are put in 2nd and 3rd place and so on. Don't be a rider, the food is made, poor consumers who eat food that is already cold. If this doesn't change, this shop will...
