We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday at Delhi Heights, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was one of the most memorable and heartwarming experiences we've had as a family. As any parent would agree, a first birthday is not just a milestone for the child, but also for the parents—a reflection of a year filled with love, challenges, and countless precious moments. We wanted a venue that could match the importance of this occasion, and after visiting several options, we chose Delhi Heights based on their reputation for great food, ambiance, and service—and they did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived at the venue, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were clearly well-prepared and attentive to every little detail. They took the time to understand our needs and preferences, and were flexible and supportive in accommodating last-minute changes, which any event planner knows are bound to happen. The seating arrangements were exceptionally well thought out. There was a perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The tables were beautifully arranged with enough space for guests to move around freely, and there was a designated play area for kids, which turned out to be a great addition. Older guests had comfortable seating in quieter corners of the venue, while parents with toddlers could easily keep an eye on their children without feeling restricted. The flow of the layout ensured that everyone felt included, relaxed, and part of the celebration.
Now let’s talk about the real star of the show—the food. Delhi Heights is well-known for its culinary excellence, and they truly lived up to their name. The buffet menu was thoughtfully curated with a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, each dish more delicious than the last. Our guests couldn’t stop praising the kebabs, which were juicy and perfectly spiced, as well as the butter chicken, which had a rich, creamy texture without being overly heavy. The Malai Kofta, paneer tikka, Karai Chicken, Lamb Masala and assorted breads were all cooked to perfection. The dessert section was another highlight—gulab jamuns were soft, warm, and melt-in-the-mouth, while the kulfi and added a refreshing end to the meal. The variety ensured that every palate—from toddlers to seniors—had something to enjoy. The drinks and refreshments were well-stocked and constantly refilled without guests having to ask.
What truly set Delhi Heights apart was their customer service. The entire staff—from the event coordinator to the servers—was polite, efficient, and incredibly responsive. Throughout the event, they moved quietly in the background, ensuring that everything was in place, yet they were always close enough if anyone needed assistance. They regularly checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and stress-free, and even helped with some of the setup tasks we had brought in, like placing party favors and arranging custom decorations. A special mention goes to the manager Soni, who was not only professional but also very personable—making us feel like this was a priority event for them too, not just another booking. It’s rare to see that kind of genuine care and enthusiasm .
In the days that followed, we received countless messages and calls from friends and family telling us how much they enjoyed the event—not just because it was a birthday, but because everything felt so thoughtfully done and well-executed. As parents, it meant the world to us to see our baby’s first big celebration go so smoothly, with smiles on every face and so many happy memories made.
If you're planning a special celebration—whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, engagement, or even a corporate gathering—I would highly recommend Delhi Heights. Their combination of delicious food, beautiful ambience, excellent staff, and genuine hospitality creates an experience that’s not only seamless but also full of heart. . It’s clear that they don’t just host events—they help create moments that matter. Thank you to the entire Delhi...
Read moreAfter considering venues for a 60th Birthday celebration for around 70 people, including function rooms in restaurants, clubs, pubs, even Community Halls for hire, we booked Delhi Heights, Dural. So happy that we did! Delhi Heights Dural is bright and spacious with large windows, its own balcony and nice views. It also has a great dance floor and cool bar area with a powerful sound/speaker system which connected easily to our Spotify Playlist for dinner and dancing music. Parking was easy. Although it is an Indian Restaurant, they catered to our menu requests including family favourites and crowd-pleasers like Chicken Schnitzel which was cooked to perfection and raved about, Pasta and tasty Salads and of course, our favourite, their well-known signature dish, Delhi Heights Butter Chicken (a must-try) with mixed Naan and hot basmati rice. Many guests returned for second helpings, plates were left empty and stomachs full! Some guests who hadn't been to Delhi Heights before the party even returned the next day for more take away Butter Chicken as it's actually sensational! The age of our guests ranged from babies under 1 to 93 year old Italian Nonni! All felt comfortable, welcome, satisfied and happy! Our gracious hosts Sony and her husband Paul were nothing but sweet and accommodating, a pleasure to deal with from our initial enquiry, to our menu choices to cater to our family and friends, to table set-up and decorations on the day of the event, until our last guests left late on the night of the party. We couldn't recommend this restaurant enough for any type of private or corporate function for food, atmosphere and set-up (they are very well equipped and have access to many party suppliers). We know, from feedback received, that our guests enjoyed the event, ambience and food as much as we did! We can't thank you enough Sony (you are an amazing Chef and gorgeous human), also to Paul and service & support team, who were all so warm, hospitable and caring. The party was intimate, festive and memorable with great food and lots of fun for all. We are very, very happy...
Read moreWe had a full sized chicken tandoori (SO so juicy, great kick of spice in the first bite then the flavour hums through the meat, LOVED it with mint sauce..which BTW we all appreciated how big the sauce bowls are!) and we also got a chaat (so perfect as a starter, all the chutneys worked to balance each other and the crispy pieces were the perfect bite size, we didn't have to break anything ourselves which usually gets messy haha).
Palak paneer - solid classic, loved how creamy it is, the paneer so soft, it was a great dish to have on the table when the other dishes felt too hot
Kasmiri lamb roganjosh - I liked how this one tasted tangy compared to the other dishes, it was nice and spicy but not at all too hot.The lamb was nice and fatty so it gave juicy bites.
Chicken biryani - holy mother Mary and sweet baby jesus this was a knock-out. LOVED how we got to see the dish get flipped at the table. Seeing the steam waft across the table and the aroma made all our mouths watered with anticipation. The colour of the dish was so rich and dark I couldn't wait to dig in. The flavours are full on in the bestest way. This was my favourite dish. I could eat this by itself. But it also elevated every curry it was paired. Just 10/10 I'd go back for the biryani.
Garlic naan - so fluffy on one side with butter glistening while the other side is delightfully crispy, it was a joy to eat.
ALSO we got an assorted dessert platter. This was THE FIRST TIME I enjoyed a gulab jamun because I wasn't drowning in syrup that makes the top of my head blow off. I had a whole one all to myself!!! Kulfi and dal halwa was also so well balanced, it wasn't too sweet.
Shout out to how fresh and steaming hot everything is. Idk if the cold weather helps but we were craving warm, spicy food and dinner at Dehli Heights...
