KFC Dural — Restaurant in Sydney

KFC DURAL Served This Absolutely Disgusting Twister. Kfc On 24/02/2024 at 7:26pm, I ordered a burger feast with 2 twisters and 2 burgers from KFC Dural and opened the bag to check for sauce as they always forget it and as I moved the 2 twisters I noticed that they were very cold as if straight out of the fridge and covered in white sauce. Even the wrapper and pita bread was cold. So I asked Emily the night manager why it was cold and she said that it’s was because the coleslaw was out of the fridge. I then asked why the wrapper would be cold and wet and to feel it she agreed and said that she didn’t know why and would make a new one for me. I agreed, but when she turned and closed the pickup window I saw her roll her eyes. Thinking it would be fine I drove home and opened the twister it was worse than before. Cold, wet, mangulated as someone had deliberately squashed it in the middle and the chicken slid out of the wrap and the canter was hollow. It had definitely 100% been squashed. Disgusted in what had happened and the disrespect the store manager and staff who did this demonstrated towards their customers, I felt that I had to go back and bring this despicable behaviour to the attention of the proprietor of Dural KFC.

When I arrived I politely spoke with Emily showed her the twister, also took pictures which I can share with you and expressed my disappointment with her and her team. I suggested that they seriously need to review their quality control and train their staff in food safety and presentation as well as respect to customers. I cannot sit by and allow this behaviour to continue and will be posting my complaint on all social media platforms I can along with photo evidence of what you staff feel that they can get away with. A Kentucky Fried Chicken located right next to a very popular McDonalds at Dural. I normally don’t eat at this KFC but I decided to have a go. There were a few other customers inside and the restaurant had old meals mess left on the tables. Maybe I should have used the drive thru like everyone else. Anyway I ordered a LARGE Zinger meal for lunch. Overall it was a very normal and average KFC experience. The Zinger build was a little sloppy, not enough salad as usual. You see I’m used to the very good burger assembly I see at the neighbouring McDonalds. The chips were hot with loads of chicken salt, maybe way too much. Anyway it was just a reminder to me that KFC is a little frozen in time when it comes to all sorts of fast food fashions. I just wish KFC would bring back the hot Corn Cobb as a side meal. The price stays roughly the same, the size of your food goes down. Shrinkflation. The quality has been dropping as well. At the Dural location, they frequently run out of items, sometimes they don't even have chicken available. Twice the didn't have large mashed potatoes available, but claim you get the same with multiple smalls. The reality is that while close, you still pay more for slightly less than the size of a family sized portion, so you still lose out. They should be better about ordering things before they run low or out. I only keep going bazed on the memories of what KFC was, and the hopes it will get better again. It's rather sad really, as Hungry Jacks has better 'Southern Style Chicken Strips' these days. The staff at the Dural location tries hard, but I think sometimes they can only do what management...
