I am someone who values efficiency, reliability, and basic competenceâclearly, none of which exist at Dominoâs Bass Hill.
I placed an order through the official Dominoâs website, expecting the usual professional delivery experience. Instead, I received a random text stating that Uber would be delivering it.
As a frequent Dominoâs customer, I was genuinely surprised. Dominoâs usually uses their own drivers.
Then, at the time it was supposed to arrive, I get another message saying it had been delivered. Surprise: no doorbell, no knock, no pizza. I check the porch, the drivewayâabsolutely nothing.
So I call the store expecting a solution, and am greeted by someone claiming to be the manager (if thatâs true, the bar for leadership has clearly fallen off a cliff).
He smugly tells me itâs not his responsibility because Uber had the order. When I point out that nowhere on the Dominoâs site does it say Uber will handle the delivery, he actually says, âYou donât need to know thatâitâs not important.â Iâm sorryâwhat? When the food isnât delivered, it becomes extremely important.
I offered a completely reasonable solution: remake the order and I would drive there myself to collect it. His response? No. Not his problem. He refused a refund, told me to lodge a complaint with Uber, and had zero interest in resolving the issue.
Frankly, this person has no business being in a management position. Conflict resolution? Non-existent. Empathy? Zero, Accountability? Laughable.
So now I am left with no dinner, wasted time filing complaints and chargebacks, and this absurd need to write a public review just to be heard.
To Area Manager of Dominoâs you seriously need to retrain or replace whoever is running your Bass Hill store. If this is your standard of customer care, you have lost my business, and probably others too. I expect better.

   Read moreI recently placed an order with Dominoâs Pizza at Bass Hill using the $58 voucher deal and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality, value, and service!
The deal included 4 large traditional pizzas and 4 sides, and I opted for some upgrades which were well worth the small extra cost. My order included:
Mega Meatlovers (Large, Classic Crust) â Packed with flavour and generously topped. Cooked perfectly with a nice crispy base and melty cheese.
Peri Peri Chicken (Large, Classic Crust) â A great kick of heat and flavour! I customised it by removing tomato and red onion, and it still came out tasting amazing.
Hawaiian (Family Size, Classic Crust) â Huge and delicious. The sweet pineapple and smoky ham combo was spot on.
Loaded Pepperoni (Large, Thin ânâ Crispy) â This one was a standout. Plenty of pepperoni and just the right amount of crunch.
For the sides, I grabbed two Cheesy Garlic Breads, both loaded with flavour and perfectly toasted, plus a 1.25L Pepsi and 1.25L Sunkist to wash it all down.
The original price of the order came to $118.30, but with the voucher and a few small upgrades, I paid just $75.60 â amazing value for the amount and quality of food we received.
Everything arrived hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Delivery was on time and the driver was friendly and polite.

   Read moreI placed an order on Friday with Bass Hill. They called me and I spoke to Mike Chen and he said he would refund $2.00 for not having any cream. They didn't have the new drinks they were advertizing on their website (So why is it on the website) ?? As usual they had no fresh cream for any drinks! We never received the $ 2.00 cash as the delivery person just put the boxes outside the front door and left, so I had no chance to speak to him. I am now leaving reviews on the internet on this branch as although the pizzas lately have been extremely good and delivered hot, if a little late, they have only had fresh cream for the iced drinks on only one occasion that I have ordered and none most of the time. They also frequently run out of ice-cream.Their stock control is not good and this issue needs addressing.This has happened on several occasions and the matter has never been addressed. The feedback forms I have completed are no use at all. The issue of poor stock control is never addressed. Their head office is not interested in resolution as they never return calls.I am not interested in trying to communicate with a branch that only offers discount vouchers as a resolution.
