El Jannah Chicken Punchbowl — Restaurant in Sydney

After having visited El Jannah for the last 7 years, I have never had a more appalling experiencing then I did on Wednesday the 10th of July at 12:00pm 2019. I was served by Rita at the counter and she personally gave myself and my three friends the worst possible customer experience I have had. Her rude demeanour and attitude was just the beginning. Firstly, we politely asked Rita if we could purchase two whole chicken meals and asked if one of the tabouli could be swapped for a garlic sauce (which is a less cost price for your company) as we new that we would not eat both. Rita rudely refused to accomodate our request despite us being willing to pay the full price of the tabouli. However, it did not stop there. Rita then refused to sell us a bottle of Vanilla coke 1.25L that we could share between the four of us, but then forced us to purchase 4 600ml bottles on top of the extra garlic sauce we had to purchase.

Having already been frustrated with Rita and her unwillingness to be accommodating, our food was utterly disappointing when choosing to eat in. The chicken itself came out burnt and cold, the two chips (both meant to be large) were in a small bowl and half filled, the Lebanese bread was also stale. Having been to this El Jannah over 30 times, we have never had a problem like this before. It is quite disappointing to say the least in terms of how repeat customers are treated.

I ordered online tonight to pick up some food for dinner for 6:40pm. I sent my son to go there and pick it up. I understand it’s Ramadan, we are all fasting. I ordered 5:30pm to pick up 6:40pm.

My sons were still standing there at 7:20pm and were fasting, they asked 3 times for their order and were ignored by your staff at the food window.

I had to drive down myself and walk in there and demand the food. There was no acknowledgement from staff. You have 20 people standing around waiting for their food, uber getting their orders. 2 people standing on cashiers but no one else is ordering because everyone is waiting on their food. If I didn’t demand the food after a 40 min wait my sons would have been kept waiting there. What a disgrace this place is become, from the prices of chicken $22 per chicken, to the size of a JUMBO chips is $17 and the jumbo chips is half the size it used to be. You want over $2 for a small size Lebanese bread. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!! You have no shame in coming into our areas with struggling families and the audacity to charge what you do, stupid me never again and with the disorganisation in your store, what a disgrace. From the top of the chain of your brand name to your workers, you should be ashamed of yourselves and everyone I hope reads this review and wakes up...

We attended this particular place on the 3rd of July just before 4 pm we ordered the same meal that we have been ordering since we first started coming in quite some time ago, we never change our order so I know exactly what we get and upon receiving our meal both of us noticed that half of it was missing we went to the counter and explained politely to them what was missing and even showed them photos of a previous meal we had to compare and the supervisor was rude and unobliging and made a point of telling us that he wouldn’t be doing anything to fix the situation I’m a supervisor myself and was extremely unimpressed at his way of handling the matter not only did it ruin our experience but it made us feel like never returning and informing our family of our experience it was extremely unprofessional of him in handing the matter and a very disappointing situation and I hope the owner is aware that this particular person has no interest in customer care or satisfaction and handled the matter in an extremely...
