Just after the opening of falak, I have bought some take away and it was very delicious. Then, I told them, "Every new Indian restaurant will be good in the beginning and when the business is being more profit oriented, it will lack quality. It should not happen in your case". They agreed and they have kept their words till this time.
As Satnam Sing has mentioned, it is the best North-Indian restaurant I have ever gone in Sydney! I have no hesitation to tell that. All dishes are delicious! Moreover, service! It is awesome. You don't need to wait for more than 15-20 minutes. They cook in front of you. Also, all staffs are very polite and humble. All dishes have enough quantity and prices are best!
Also, you can customize your tastes here. That is wonderful thing.
I have once ordered chicken biriyani for my sister's house warming party. And nearly half of it was excess! It is not an exaggeration.
So, I don't hesitate to suggest Falak.
Hats off, Falak Guys! Keep this quality and...
Read moreI would hands down rate Falak Indian Cuisine one of the go to restaurants for Punjabi / North Indian food. I love their Palak paneer with the subtle balance of methi leaves with palak leaves along with fresh paneer cubes. Not many places make such palak paneer!
I have enjoyed their paneer tikka masala as well as chicken tikka kebabs. Sometimes, I wish they let their tikkas be grilled a little extra in the tandoor oven.
They are quite busy but if you can wait for 20 to 30 minutes, you will be served with some made to order food. This is a luxury if you know how complex Indian cuisine is and it takes time to master the subtle flavours the right amount of spices add to the food.
Tucked in a quite corner of the Mezzaine level of rather obscure Toongabbie shopping center, this is known about the locals but is rather a hidden gem for Sydneysiders. Come over to Pendle Hill and Toongabbie to try some...
Read moreA great little place in the food court above woolies in Toongabbie. We had a Delicious meal! The food is definitely not your typical foodcourt fare. It was super frsh, not oily, well balanced flavours, not over fragrant or too salty like some Indian food is. Pooris were soft and crispy at the same time, naans were perfectly cooked. Chana and aloo poori were both tasty and I loved the vegetable pickle, which I usually don't like. Chicken tikka masala, vegie fried rice, chicken 65 and tandoori chicken highly recommended good quality meant was used. 8 people for $120 and we were all well full, so great value for money. The staff were lovely too. The only improvement I could see is to have a proper restaurant setting. Will...
