Fish n Grille — Restaurant in Sydney

Fish is tasty you have a choice between battered fish or grilled, there are a few salads to choose from as part of the meal, most meals come with crispy thick cut fries.. Fries are nice.. you can for an additional few dollars when buying your meal deal add a can of drink or bottle of water with your meals.. The scallops are cheap OK in taste but are quite oily when deep fried... I picked the seafood grille.. Tasty grilled fish, two baby octopus, two calamari & two king prawns grilled on top of thick cut crispy chips with a side of seafood salad/ coleslaw.. Price. . $ 15.. When you're meal is ready to take away you can self add extra chicken salt to your fries (note the fries & fish are already well seasoned, so taste your fries before doing this or there will be an overload of salt on your meal) also you can self add mince chilli in oil marinate on your plate or over your fish note its extremely hot chilli, so I advice to just put a teaspoon on the side of your plate, not over your fish or you may experience chilli steam escaping through your mouth, nose & ears :). The grilled fish is cooked just right & melts in your mouth as is the calamari rings, baby octopus & king prawn.. Also note this fish & chip bar has a special on for the general battered fish & chips meal but with no salad.. which is quite cheap...

So today my mum went to this place and asked for two takeaways of number 21. It was around 3:00 p.m., and the girl behind the counter ended up charging $17 and giving her two trays of salad with fish. Just to clarify, she said fish and chip number 21 kindly ask the girl for the takeaway container, and she got an annoyed look on her face and gave my mother the dirtiest look ever, even though she was carrying a lot of bag, the girl still handed her the takeout without handing her a bag, so mum had to ask for one, while the girl gave her another irritated look and refused to re-make the order correctly. Simply terrible customer service, so we end up having to take some food we don't want and assume it didn't cost anywhere near $17 while also having to wait a long time for it to be prepared. Ps: there was this one piece of hair sticking...

Food is expensive frozen old and putrid not to mention didn't get one piece of fetta on my greek salad my grilled fish was moist but tasted old and burnt like the grill wasn't cleaned for a while and the 2 oldies who ordered the battered fish recieved it overcooked to the point of being brown and so oily and discussing feel sorry for them having to salvage what there was of the fish from the batter the 1 star was for the chips they were sort of ok cooked well but quality poor they were very starchy and dry just a cheap chip these guys have a great location and am sure if stockyards weren't charging so much rent they could probably afford better quality food oh yeh tartar sauce was watery thin and...
