Despite me going to Stockland Wetherill Park often, I have never been to this Gelatissimo. However, yesterday was the day where this was no longer true. Around 6:45pm on the 15th of July, my family and I had visited this place as one of my family members were craving ice cream! We thought, āit wouldnāt be too bad getting ice cream right now! Gelatissimo will just be a fine experienceā. Boy, when I tell you my underestimation was wrong, I meant it. When we first approached this place we were greeted by two loooovely servers - one male and one female - enthusiastically to the extent that it made us feel warm and welcome. The female server had no problem in allowing me and my family members to try some of the ice-cream flavours on display. After deciding a little, we had ordered scoops of: Dragonfruit and Lychee (now my new favourite and i HIGHLY recommend) Mango Biscoff (my family memberās all time favourite which i also HIGHLY recommend) Hazelnut, and Espresso. Despite me stating the flavours that I highly recommend, I do believe all the flavours they have on display are all highly recommended, yet Iāll just have to come to this Gelatissimo more often so I can return to this review and recommend all the flavours lol. These flavours tasted great, yet it wasnāt the only thing that made me feel satisfied. Those 2 lovely servers made me feel extremely happy, itās a shame that this review does not do justice for how amazing they are. Itās also a shame that theyāre not as busy as Yoghurtland, Hero Sushi, San Churro, etc. and the only convincing reason to me is because Gelatissimo is located in an area of Wetherill Park that donāt have much people around (which I will definitely be having a talk to management about). I cannot stress this enough, an ice cream store with extremely lovely servers and great tasting ice cream deserves to be located in the section of Stockland Wetherill Park which has much more people around. To the owner of this Gelatissimo, just know that Iām applauding you for allowing customers - like my family and I - to have an amazing and unforgettable experience. I will definitely be coming more often whenever I come to Stockland Wetherill Park. Iām also promising you that Iāll do the most I can to make sure your store is relocated in the busy area that you AND your lovely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a boysenberry ice cream in a cone today and a mango one. The guy who served me scooped it in a way that it slightly topped out of the cone. It was ridiculous and looked awful and almost as if he knew it was bad stuck one of the crackers in like to disguise the shortage of a scoop he gave me. While waiting for my boyfriendās scoop I noticed a lady standing and watching the other server while she was scooping the mango ice cream and then say things to her which I didnāt catch. Her scooping actually was a proper scoop. It made me feel like they were limiting the amount of ice cream they are handing out and I had wish I had taken a photo of what I had received . My boysenberry ice cream also was very bland in its flavour unlike how it usually is. Ontop of this my boyfriends mango ice cream that was specifically within the cone had a strong flavour of garlic ??????, which ultimately has turned us off from returning to this place. Please teach your staff how to scoop properly and as a business not be so tight with the scoops and ultimately check whatās in that mango ice cream, it most certainly should not taste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis used to be my favourite go to place for ice cream while hanging out with friends or family, until I had a bad experience; which can be potentially very dangerous for others. I ordered my usual scoop of cookies and cream ice cream, and had an allergic reaction. And I know that I'm not allergic to anything in that flavour, because I've had it many times before, so this is a problem with the staff. In future, make sure that the scoops are being cleaned properly to avoid cross contamination. I'd hate to imagine someone with a very bad allergy being exposed to something because of this fatal mistake. I was lucky enough to be a person with a very mild allergy, with reactions that go away on their own. It could have easily gone terribly wrong if it was someone else with a much worse allergy. To customers out there, make sure your allergies are made clear, in case this happens to you as well. I'm not the type to complain, but this is a very serious and dangerous matter that I can't keep...
