On paper, everything seemed perfect. The branding is impressive, with great color choices, well-designed advertisements, and an overall visual identity that is very appealing. It really makes you want to stop and check out the place. That’s exactly what happened to me. I saw a large, eye-catching billboard while driving, entered the address in my GPS, and headed straight there.
However, the experience wasn’t as smooth as I had hoped. The first issue was parking. It’s a real challenge. The surrounding streets are narrow, filled with one-way routes, and there are very few parking spaces. I had to drive around for quite some time before I finally found a spot.
On a positive note, the outdoor terrace is nice and clean. Inside, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They take the time to explain the menu and even apply available discounts, which is a nice touch, especially for first-time visitors.
Another strong point is the pricing. For less than $25, you can get a burger, loaded fries, and a soda, which is very reasonable. The service is also quick, but the problems started when it came to the food.
First of all, the food wasn’t very hot, which was disappointing. Secondly, the flavors didn’t live up to expectations. I tried the pulled beef burger, and while it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t remarkable either. The loaded cheeseburger fries were also underwhelming. They consist of a steak patty placed on top of the fries, with two or three pickles on the side. You have to cut up the steak yourself and mix it with the fries, which isn’t very practical. On top of that, the dish lacked flavor.
Another downside, which might have been bad luck, was the behavior of a customer on the outdoor terrace. Despite clear no-smoking signs, someone was smoking right next to us. We had to ask them to move ourselves, as no staff member intervened.
In summary, my experience at Flipp Burgers was mixed. While the service, pricing, and atmosphere were great, the food didn’t meet the expectations set by their impressive branding. That said, I didn’t try everything on the menu, so other items might be better. I recommend giving it a try and seeing...
Read moreFLIPP BURGER- Fake Hype on Instagram & online the Burgers dressed up by the company & influencers do not compare to their restaurant.
I have been to Flipp Before & the portion size & burgers was ok. I don’t know if the company is going into Administration or not doing well because today it was like a Highway Robbery!
I got two Burgers The Original & the Spicy Bird. I would like to say NOTHING compares to the FAKE photos they use to advertise them. My burgers meat were small almost no sauce or any of the fillings. Poorly assembled & The bun is flat like a Pita Bread! I can see its overtoasted & obvious that the people at this location dont know how to handle the buns or its just the quality has tanked since ai last been here.
Sad to say 31.20$ for two sad burgers that are not even filling sad looking & fries that are just bag frozen. And also seating area was dirty unorganised rubbish everywhere. Is lacking’ to say the least. Buyer Beware!
However Service was good servers polite & smiling! They were willing to replace my sad looking burger for a new one. Though they told me this is how they are. The service saved my experience but the product did not.
Hopefully the brand focuses on its product and not conning customers or cheaping out for the prices they are trying to justify they won’t...
Read moreI have eaten here 5+ times, the first time was incredible. Juicy meat, flavourful sauce and the chips were cooked nicely. Now the only reason I keep eating here is because it’s close to where I work and I really enjoy burgers.
4/5 times I’ve had a beef burger here it’s been so dry it’s made me choke. The chicken in the chicken burger is also very thin, leaving you thinking it was more of an appetiser than the main event. Not worth $16 if you’re still hungry after eating.
It’s not the best burger place, it’s OK at best. I think they could improve and become Very Good for Auburn but I’m yet to see those improvements, then again they’re fairly new. STOP OVERCOOKING THE PATTIES AND GET SOME JUICY CHICKEN WITH SUBSTANCE.
That’s my advice after spending more than $100 here in a week. Ps. the ice...
