Thai Rock — Restaurant in Sydney

Im not big on review but what happened to us yesterday really gave me a push to write.

It was Mother's Day and my sister decided to take me out for lunch to celebrate. There was 6 of us including my twin girls (11 months old). I always loved coming to this place until yesterday. Definitely the last.. When we got there, it was full and there was only a table for 4 left outside. Instead of sitting straight away, we stood on the side and waited to be seated. Then finally, the owner which is the guy took us through our seat.. Asked for two child seat.. After an exhausting episode with my kids trying to put them on the seats., we finally settled and sat while we wait to be assisted by the waitress... Then the disappointment started... The wife of the owner (ive been coming to this place too much so i knew who she was) ... Abruptly came to our table with the rudest tone and said "Can you get off the table? You didnt make any reservation"... Now in my head this was not our problem as they didnt tell us initially that we didn't book and if she asked as nicely ill be ok with that... Here i am explaining to her that we didnt know and that we have told her that the owner let us sit there and she again rudely said "well he didnt know that"... Im not sure what happened but they ended up letting us sit there... Other group started to fill up the other vacant tables and we weren't being served, they were anyway... We had to stop the waiters to ask if they can take our orders... Then our food came before our plates so our food gone cold... Then i was feeding my twins rice and some of it were falling on the floor... Oh boy that wife of the owner made me feel so uncomfortable on the day i should be feeling. She kept on looking under the table and shaking her head... I had to grab my wipes and gone under the table to pick up the scraps of food just to clean the mess.. No apologies made, we paid and we left... That experience definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.....

Sunday the 12th of August 2018, walked into my local Thai restaurant and sat down with a friend around 7:45pm to eat dinner and catch up. We knew what we wanted to order and had a waitress take our order within a minute. We ordered Soft Shell Crab as our entreé, 2 mains of Chicken Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice and 2 drinks: Corona and Jackfruit Fruitshake, simple right? Wrong, service was slow and we waited 30 minutes for our mains to arrive. The staff knew we were growing impatient and that we needed some service the moment we made eye contact with one of the waitresses.

The 30 minutes passed and our food finally arrived, however the mains came out before the entreé, weird right? Our drinks were not even served yet. 5-10 minutes pass whilst we were eating our dinner, the bartender finally decided to make the drinks but they were just sitting there on the bar top and not one single waiter/waitress ran the drinks to our table. The bartender then decided to take the drinks down and put them to the side, that is when my friend notified one of the staff that we never received our drinks. We finally get our drinks and the Jackfruit Fruitshake was melted, I was not surprised. We had almost finished our dinner and our Soft Shell Crab was yet to show, until I asked one of the waitresses to check on our it. The entreé eventually showed up and we devoured it, not going to lie the food here is great.

However overall, the service here is very poor and lacks good customer service. I may or may not even come back to this restaurant ever again. I suggest to the owner that he either trains his current employees efficiently and effectively, put the resources in and invest in his employees or hire new staff who are more customer-service driven. I had come here for dinner and once we had finished and went to pay things seemed weird. So paid for our dinner and went to head home when I realized that I was charged for multiple items I didn't receive. When calling up and explaining what had happened I spoke to Natasha who was very rude and unprofessional for someone who is a manager. I was then pushed on to Stephanie who then claimed I was laying and that she will view CCTV and get back to me and funny enough I still haven't heard anything and it's been weeks now. The food is overpriced the quality of the food is poor the service is just a joke. To be treated the way my friend I were treated we will never be going back again ever.

First of all my statements are correct. And im surprised you even remember who we are with the number of beers you had while we were there for dinner.

If the drink (1 drink)  Was ready why did she come to the table to confirm the order? Why didn't she come with the drink in hand? And you just confirmed that i was charged extra when i only asked for 1more not multiple.

No, i do not trust to give my card details over the phone to someone who has already clearly ripped me off.

I haven't yet been able to arrange a time or day as i was told CCTV would be viewed and i will hear back and...
