Glenbrook Underground — Restaurant in Sydney

Their menu is simple. Toasties and bagels, which they do very well. We enjoyed this aspect. We had two of the avocado feta bagels - very delish and light. There’s quite a bit of lemon in the avo mix, which was good for my husband and okay for me. Not bad at all though! They are served in boxes and you will need to ask for cutlery.

Coffee is delish. I had a small long black and it was very good.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I popped into Underground Café for a coffee while waiting for my hiking friends but ended up treating myself to a hot chocolate instead — and it was absolutely delicious! The early morning (6:30 am) vibe was calm and inviting, with friendly staff and a cosy ambience that made it a perfect start to the day. Wow! If you love Underground Coffee then this is THE OTHER place you can feed your addiction!! Set up in the old Glenbrook Church, there's a little indoor seating, the rest is outside in comfy surroundings but it can get hot!! Lovely coffee, iced & hot but their tea selection is pretty poor.
