We went on a Sunday, unfortunately the Cafe we wanted to have brunch at was too busy so we thought we'll give here a try as we saw afew empty seats. We waited in line (only an older couple was before us), we were greeted by a young gentleman who took our numbers & asked if we would like to be seated inside. He said he'll have a look & will be back, went in to look then said he'll clean up & come back to seat up. Another young staff member approached us & asked if we needed to be seated to which we said someone has already gone to clean a table, to then having another staff member approach us & we requested to sit at the table right next to us which had been available since we arrived. We were seated, received our menus & water, waited for atleast 15mins before I got up to ask if I had to order at the counter or whether it was ordering at the table. Staff member apologised & came to take our order, we literally waited 30mins for our order of egg omelette, beef burger, big breakfast & 3 bowls of chips. The egg omelette was delicious, the burger was abit dry, big breakfast was okay. Coffee was great. There is no kids menu & not much on their menu. It gives off "uni student completing assignments" vibes, staff was friendly but I wouldn't go out of my way to go for a...

I went back recently for a rare date night.

We love this venue, there is both indoor and outdoor seating, but the outdoor area is all under cover.

The service was great and the food was incredible!! Everything was seasoned perfectly too 🤤

We ate: Fennel Salami Black Cockatoo Sourdough Burrata, Pangrattato, Lemon Polenta Chips, Aioli Brussel Sprouts, Ginger, Eschallot Broccolini, Salsa Verde, Almond Mussels, Mountain Culture Pale Ale, Green Chilli Sirloin, Smoked Paprika, Bay, Sherry Pecan Pie

We loved each and every one of these dishes, but the standouts for me were the Brussel Sprouts, Broccolini and Mussels 🤤🤤🤤

The veg still had a nice bite to it. The sprouts had a delicious taste but they hadn't lost the flavour of the sprouts which I loved. The Mussels were cooked perfectly and the broth was so full of flavour!!

I highly recommend trying to book in for dinner here if you get the chance!

Delicious food and drinks, reasonably priced. The Beetroot & Dutch Carrots with Almond Creme was our favourite! Nice undercover seating area with ceiling fans to stay cool.)

Apart from Izzy, the service was really bad. The food was quite ok though and it was very busy. So what happened, a lady greeted us and pointed out a table at the back of the garden and said she would be there shortly, but never came the whole time we were there. A young guy eventually served us but not before serving 2 tables of about 8 people that came after us first, normally ok but since we were in a hurry that delayed our food quite a bit I think. We ordered tea and big breakfast to share. When the young girl brought the tea she she spillt the milk on my wife, well mostly on the chair and floor, but only mumbled a sorry and went away to bring back a cloth which she gave to my wife! Then she went away again and didn't bring back another milk. The young people seemed to be half asleep and not wanting to be there except then Izzy came to us and she was amazing! We are local but would only come back if we could see better service. Again all the food and beverages are quite good but we want good food and good service...

Great cafe to have breakfast or lunch. The big brekky ($25) was very tasty and they swapped the chorizo for haloumi no problem. Omelette ($23) was okay, lacking in a bit of flavour and the feta was more of a tart, tangy feta than a soft, creamy one. Omelette price a little high for what you got, but big brekky was bang on the money. Menu has a good selection of foods and drinks. Service was a little funny, they kept visiting to take away finished cups and plates while I was still eating (it was not busy, they did not need the things). Overall, a nice experience and worth a visit.

The quaint villanges within the mountains are starting to develop a wider reputation as a top alternative brunch hub in Sydney. Glenbrook is no exception to this phenomenon and Vincent Diner would be one of the picks of the litter. Sure being surrounded by the beautiful flora and fauna of the mountains adds an advantage over the industrial chic of the city cafes, however great food and coffee is always at the core of a successful brunch spot, which Vincent does well. Highly recommended as one of the brunch options in the area.
